"unfortunately not impressed"

B1208338 Our stay was for two days. I drink Alpro Unsweetened milk and was only supplied milk for one day. On arrival there was not enough loo paper in the bathroom. We were told we could have unlimited water, which we did not receive and we had to keep asking. There was only one soap in the bathroom for two people, which was not enough. We asked for another one and more water, which we didn`t get. The voucher for ten pounds could not be used properly. Not good enough. What a pity.

Had booked a triple executive room. When we arrived in the room there were only two beds and room was only set up for two guests. Reception said they would recitify this while we were out. When we arrived back at 11pm they had put a cot in the room !!! ?? They were not able to sort this and said there were no other rooms available. The 3rd guest had to be sent to another hotel for the night. As the hotel were overbooked. It has spoilt what was meant to be a special weekend for a 60th Birthday. Look forward to hearing from you

Good overall, disappointed that one of the family rooms was not ready when we arrived and was still not ready when we came back at 11 with 2 very tired children. Gone midnight before Children`s beds were finally sorted.

the hotel xxxxx Plazza xxxxx is a very nice hotel, very clean and the room we had was very nice and breakfast was busy but very good, would stay in this hotel again

"Lovely, modern hotel, horrible sofa bed! "

Slightly further out but it was just about within walking distance to Trafalgar Square &the Strand (where all the theatres are.) Lovely, modern, extremely clean hotel with all the mod cons, lovely restaurant/bar and fabulous, friendly staff a-plentiful. Our original room given to us was disappointing however. 3 adults to what was only a small double room was not acceptable, especially when we thought we had booked a triple executive. So I complained & was given a lovely, large room (with a disappointing view) straight away, the staff were very accommodating. However it was a bedroom with a sofa bed in a separate living area, it was already made up for us. But my lord, it was the most uncomfortable bed I`ve EVER slept on. The springs literally dug into every bone of my body. Really disappointing for such a lovely hotel. The rooms were beautiful. Tea/coffee facilities, breakfast was great. Lots of choice & again, lovely helpful & happy staff.

"Reasonable "

Just very very dark hotel. Which is a strange thing to review on. But you cant see in the bathroom properly and it starts to feel quite oppressive after a while.

" xxxxx on the River"

Moved the booking from the 4 star to the 5 star as it was for a special celebration and decided to pay to upgrade. The hotel was aware of the 50th Birthday celebrations and went out of their way to make it special in every way. Particular thanks go to Mark Spanjal the customer service duty manager I spoke to an the very hospitable receptionist, Alcjahdro Rics. Darren in the executive lounge who was very kind, personable and attentive.
