Getting there:BY CAR:  Follow the M6 (entering Scotland) onto the A74(M) (signposted The North, Glasgow, Edinburgh). Leave the A74 at J13, then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the B7078 (signposted Carlisle, Edinburgh). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A702 (signposted Edinburgh), at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A702 (signposted Biggar, Edinburgh),at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A702 (signposted Edinbugh). Lothianburn junction. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto A702 then immediately take the 1st exit on the next roundabout onto the A702 (signposted City Centre, Edinburgh South). At Fiarmilehead Junction, traffic signals continue forward onto the A701 (signposted City Centre). At traffic signals turn right onto the A700. Continue forward onto Hope Park Terrace. Turn left onto the A7. At Wellington Statue, traffic signals turn right on to the A1 (signposted Berwick Upon Tweed). Finish on Waterloo Place.

"Apex City-fantastic stay."
Lovely large room, and clean.  Lovely lunch time meal, and staff very friendly.
Good welcome from reception staff, and very helpful with information and assisting to book an evening meal. Good breakfast, but more milk should have been available, due to two people having cereal. Overall very good.

"warm and friendly"
 enjoyed the two night stay in Edinburgh wished it was for longer. Stayed at the Apex City Hotel which was excellent, very modern clean and warm. Staff was helpful and friendly, hotel was central, will recommend it to friends.

The food on ofer in the hotel was of a very high standard and reasonabvley priced with generous portions.  The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were of a high standard with very comfy beds.  The provision of dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch.  I would definitley recommend this hotel to friends and family.

"cool city hotel- excellent cheerful service"
Excellent location for Old Town and Fringe festival. Cool modern ambience. excellent cheerful service especially at breakfast which was very good value as part of combined room and breakfast deal .
