The Grand Hotel Scarborough occupies a prime location overlooking the town`s harbour and South Bay. This iconic Victorian building is just a couple of minutes` walk from Scarborough`s famous promenade and offers sea views over the beautiful sandy beaches. Scarborough`s many family attractions including Scarborough Castle, Miniature Railway, the Sea Life Centre and traditional seaside amusements on the clean, family friendly beach and promenade can all be reached within a 10 minute walk of the Grand hotel Scarborough.

Getting there:

BY CAR: The Hotel is located about 1/2 mile on the A64 main route into Scarborough. When driving follow signs to the Railway station and at the T junction turn right at lights at the station. Then take the first left at the next set of traffic lights opposite Comet and proceed straight ahead at the set of Traffic lights. Go straight over at the roundabout and the Grand Hotel is first right down St Nicholas Cliff opposite Huntriss Row.
From the bus and train station. The hotel is less than half a mile away from Scarborough`s Bus and Train Station. Turn right onto the A171. At traffic signals turn right onto the A165 Bridlington. At traffic signals turn left onto Somerset Terrace Brunswick Shopping Centre. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Falconers Road. Continue forward onto Harcourt Place. Turn right onto Saint Nicholas Cliff. Look out for the Grand Scarborough hotel on your left.

Car Parking:

The hotel does not have any car-parking facilities however Pay & Display metered parking is available in the streets surrounding the hotel. The cost is £1.50 per hour & is free between 6.00pm and 9.00am. The hotel reception sells red car parking permits at a cost of £3.00 and this covers selected metered car parking from 9.00am until 1.30pm the following day. 2 local Multi storey offer an alternative. Palm Court Multi storey car park, opposite the Brunswick Centre ( £12.50 for 24hours) and Wilkinsons NCP ( £7.20 for 24hours) - all located within 10 minutes walk of the hotel. Directions to Wilkinsons NCP on Sat Nav fef: YO11 1LU. There is a loading bay outside the hotel and it is recommended that you unload your luggage first before finding a car-parking space.
