The hotel has 64 guest rooms, all of which are fully ensuite with air-conditioning, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and iPod docking station, as the rooms do not have mini-bars the hotels reception can provide guests with complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks. The rooms in two adjoining buildings, are arranged around a central courtyard. Although all rooms were recently redecorated, the structure of this listed building has not changed since the 18th century. The hotel has no evening restaurant, but there are several dining options in the surrounding area.

The Malte is a beautiful, 4 Star hotel situated in a quiet location on the Rue de Richelieu. The Pyramid of the Louvre is just a few steps from the hotel as are many of the stunning boutiques and the major restaurants and brasseries. In addition, complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks are available from reception for all guests. Bourse Metro Station is within walking distance of the hotel, which offers easy access to every part of this exciting city. Please Note: A city tax of approximately 2.47 Euros per person per day is charged for guests and payable at the hotel.
Getting there:
FROM GARE DU NORD: Take 1 stop to Gare de l`est. Then take Line 7 to Pyramides. From Pyramides metro station, take Rue Therese. Turn 2nd left at Rue Ste-Anne, then 2nd right for the Rue des pts champs. Turn 2nd left this is the Rue de Richelieu where you will see the Malte Hotel.
FROM CHARLES DE GAULLE: Take Line B to Chatelet Les Halles. Then change on to Metro Line 14 to go to Pyramides which is one stop. From Pyramides metro station, take Rue Therese. Turn 2nd left at Rue Ste-Anne, then 2nd right for the Rue des pts champs. Turn 2nd left this is the Rue de Richelieu where you will see the Malte Opera Hotel

Hotel was perfectly central, therefore saving us money on transportation. Complimentary hot and cold drinks with fruit and nibbles available all day down at reception. Staff were very friendly. Bedrooms and beds were spotlessly clean. Yes this was the most expensive hotel of all the ones which i looked at, but hey! Its Paris, and we were not going to stay in some dingey dirty hotel for four nights just to save a couple of hundred euro. Top marks for this hotel.

"Great location and beautiful rooms"
The hotel was positioned only a few minutes most of Paris`main attractions and surrounded by plenty of beautiful bars and restaurants. The room was beautifully clean and had ample storage space, and the bathroom was lovely. I felt very at home staying here and would definitely stay again next time.

We had a fabulous stay at the Malte Opera Hotel. The staff was very friendly and our room was spacious, clean and it exceeded our expectations overall. They were accommodating and helpful, we would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Paris. The location is also ideal!

"One night at Malte Opera Hotel"
On arriving there we were told there had been a technical problem with our booking and the 2 double rooms were not available, so they asked us if we minded (at no extra cost) being in a 2 bedroomed apartment with 2 floors and 2 bathrooms and a living room.... it was unbelievable absolutely fantastic. The location is superb about a 5 minute walk to The Louvre and park. There was no parking facilities but close by was a multi storey which was easy enough. We would all recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay in Paris. x

Hotel was clean and beds comfortable but room very small. The road is very busy and noisy at night but it is a very central location so this is to be expected. We were very pleased with the location of the hotel easy walk to Le Louvre and river.

"Impressive hotel and staff"
Arriving at the hotel from CDP airport was very easy and the directions given by the hotel were clear to follow. Staff were efficient on arrival and we got there before check in time which wasn`t a problem. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was excellent, mintues from the metro which takes you wherever you need from eiffel tower to notre dame. To summarise brilliant hotel and I will be staying again next time i`m in paris!
