The Regency is a family owned hotel just a 10 minute drive from the city centre and 15 minutes from the Airport. There are many other attractions nearby including The National Botanic Gardens and Croke Park which are both less than 2 miles away . The hotel is well served by public transport with buses stopping outside the Hotel and a train station within 10-15 minutes walk. The hotel has recently undergone a multi-million Euro refurbishment tastefully combining the hotels original 19th Century features such as high ceiling and grand staircases with modern comforts and leisure facilities. More Info

There is also a Bar & Lounge area serving light snacks and drinks including an extensive cocktail menu or soak up the sun on the hotels Garden Terrace and patio area.  Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and all rooms are equipped with cable and satellite TVs and have sound-proofed windows. En-suites include bath and shower.

Getting there:FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT: (By airport bus) The Regency hotel is 6 km (about 10 minutes) from the Airport on the main bus route into Dublin. Take the route 16a bus, which goes straight past the door of the hotel.  To get to the city use bus routes 16 or 3. 

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT: (By car) Follow signs for the city centre (M1). The hotel is just after the second set of lights on the left hand side.

Having asked for large room we were really surprised to be given the honeymoon suite. Great location. food and service excellent.

The only 2 things that weren`t good were, not being called back by reception about whether an apointment was available in the spa and the room doors could be thicker, I could hear very clearly conversations in the corridor, glad there were no hens or stags on my floor!  Its a clean and comfortable room and the staff in the bar were very friendly.

"Overall Very Good"
Everything was good apart from the ridiculously loud cleaners trying to get in our room at 9am in the morning. I could hear them for the whole time they were on our floor. They then again tried to enter our room at 10am, again literally entering our room causing me to have to leave my bed and ask them to come back again later.

The hotel is situated In a great location very close to the city centre. Lovely, modern, spacious rooms, would highly recommend.
