Location and hotel facilities:The 3* Roundhouse hotel is located in the popular Lansdowne area and is a 5 minute walk from the golden sands of East Cliff beach.  With the town centre only a 10 minute stroll away guests will be able to enjoy a host of attractions such as the Pavilion Theatre, The Aquarium and Bournemouth Pier. Those of a more adventurous nature may wish to view the area from the Bournemouth Eye, a balloon and gondola that rises to a height of 630 feet. "I wasn`t expecting much but......"
£115 for a tiny room with a tiny window, underfloor heating in bathroom permenantly on, which made the room unbearable to be in (more likely pipes then a sophisticated heating system) shower didnt have capability to wet my hair, which was a good job as they only supplied one towel between the two of us. Staff were very nice, and did the best they could.

"Perfect customer service. Hotel is underrated"
Staff were friendly, polite and professional at all times. Food was what we expected from a 3 star hotel. we asked for room to be cleaned and it was. Yes it is some what outdated and some minor repairs are required but if you are willing and open minded enough to ignore this ( like we did ) it will not affect your stay in the slightest. we have stayed in 5 star hotels where everything looked fantastic however the staff could not be bothered to smile unlike those at the Roundhouse. its the staff and friendly atmosphere that mad our stay enjoyable. we may go back if so we would stay longer.

"Standard room"
rooms is not what we really expected for the price, it meets the requirements for a short stay though, bed is not confy enough but it doesn`t matter, location is good , noisy glad we`re on the 5th floor, doors are too loud to shut.... someone  banging at our door at 3AM as they`re too drunk to find their own room, not a good experience spe when you have little kids...

"Budget hotel in central bournemouth"
Roundhouse is a budget hotel in a central location. Room was basic but ok. Clean. Shower did not work. Overall - for cost it was ok. Car park was convenient and £3 per day charge for use was reasonable. Staff were mostly young and were pleasant and helpful. Not a bad experience - but this is a budget hotel experience. Thanks.

"The hotel is in a nice location"
The hotel is in a nice location however it only provides a very basic facilities. Breakfast is not bad but missing fresh fruits.There is no internet access in the guest rooms. The acoustic design of the rooms is poor, you can hear the noise in the adjacent room. In general this hotel needs a bit of upgrading as it is very old and a bit rundown.
