The 5* Vincci Seleccion Posada del Patio hotel is a newly built hotel which offers guests a high-quality and chic hotel with avant-garde style characteristics. At first glance, the lobby has a cool minimalistic look, but look again and you`ll see the important archaeological remains of the old Arab wall and the old Roman wall that have been found beneath the Posada del Patio. This stretch of the wall can be visited from the hotel, where you can view the vestiges under a glass floor in the bar area. Located in the historical town centre, it offers easy and fast access to all the points of interest in the city of Malaga. The most exclusive part of the city`s port, Muello Uno is a 15 minute walk away, where you`ll find many shops and restaurants. It is also home to Malaga`s only Michelin-starred restaurant (owned by Jose Carlos Garcia) and has a marina for luxurious yachts. Leading on from the harbour is Playa de la Malagueta, a sandy city beach that stretches for several kilometres from the port and is a mere 18 minutes` walk from the hotel. Getting there:
BY CAR: From Malaga Airport: Head southeast onto Calle Comandante García M, going straight through 1 roundabout. Continue onto Camino Loma de San Julián, merging onto Av. Velázquez. Take the MA-20 ramp to Benalmádena/Algeciras/Cádiz, keeping left at the fork, follow signs for MA-21/avda. Velázquez/Centro ciudad/Centro urbano and merge onto MA-20. Take exit 7 for A-357 and follow signs for Avenida/Andalucía/Puerto/Centro cuidad/Centro Urbano. Continue onto Av. Andalucía/Av. de Andalucía and turn right toward Calle Armengual de la Mota. Take the 1st right onto Calle Hilera (through 1 roundabout). Continue onto Puente de la Esperanza over the bridge before turning left onto Calle José M García Caparrós. Continue onto Pasillo de Atocha, then Pasillo de Santa Isabel. The hotel is at number 7.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From Malaga Airport. Take train RENFE Line C-1 from the airport to Maria Zambrano Train Station. Exit station towards Explanda de la Estacion Avenue. Go to bus stop number 501 and take line 20 towards Alegria de la Huerta. Get off at bus stop number 202 (6 stops), pasillo de Santa Isabel. The hotel is at Pasillo de Santa Isabel number 7.
