"Brilliant holiday thanks to the wessex Hotel"
Myself and my Fiancée  booked into the Wessex Hotel for one week`s holiday. The room was lovely, the staff were very kind and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts and evening meals were superb. Absolutely couldn`t fault our stay there. We will definitely be booking back in at the next available opportunity. 10 out of 10, well done guys.

"Not For Us"
Stayed here a few years ago; the hotel needed updating then. We knew the hotel had `changed hands` and with recent reviews being "very good", plus the location and parking, we thought we would visit again. The hotel has not improved. Horrid wallpaper and carpets in corridors and scruffy plywood doors throughout. Our bathroom was completely awful. Plus-side - pools both indoors and out OK, seating areas by reception and bar comfortable, breakfast `alright`.

Good location, good facilities, Value of money but could do with external coat of paint and bedrooms in need of modernisation

"good service, average hotel"
Staff were very helpful and quick to help when a rowdy group kept us awake. They upgraded us to a much nicer room. The breakfast was good and we could easily walk into Bournemouth. Hotel is clean, but some rooms are tired looking.
