"Great interior design but not very practical in places"

Very different and interesting design in the public areas. Our room was also unique in its design but not very practical. There were no drawers or cupboards, no easy chair and nowhere but the floor to put our luggage on. The dressing table mirror was beyond the end of the dressing table. Why? There was no privacy when on the toilet, showering and washing. The passages had nice and very differently designed carpets but the light yellow areas showed the dirt. Overall - very unique, nice and interesting interior design but practical problems need to be sorted.

"Fab as always"

Stayed at this hotel 5 times now, and the service and ambiance is second to none. Is a beautiful & quirky hotel - no wonder Chris Eubank has made it his home!

"Beautiful hotel"

Great location, clean, amazing decoration. However a little noisy due to the local bars and on the cold side in the evening. I had a great time and would go back again.

Second stay at My Hotel Brighton and happy to say second time as good as the first. Excellent and friendly front desk service. Room immaculate. Hope My Hotel sustains this and makes sure it keeps it looking as good as new with investing by keeping the rooms from getting tired and shabby. Thank you for a lovely stay. Oh, the restaurant is also great - including the staff.

"great location, excellent bar, uncomfortable room"

The hotel is in a great location and the design of the hotel is fantastic but I would not return as the room was uncomfortable. The bathroom was massive and could have been a second bedroom but there were no shelves or cabinets on which to put toiletries- these landed up on the floor. The shower pressure was low and the basin was at the level of my knees and i am only 5ft 2inch. The linen was not changed despite a massive coffee spillage. I had a look at another room which looked better so i suspect we got the last room available which was unimpressive to say the least- I would not return. I have stayed in the My Hotel in Bloomsbury which despite its smaller size is well thought out and more comfortable- definitely worth a stay.

The design of the beds with the integral table made it difficult to get out of bed without banging the back of our legs. An example of beautiful looks but not totally practical.However we loved the later checkout time of 12pm. Gave us a very relaxed morning.

"Superb room, great service"

We stayed in the Carousel Room, which was luxurious with a terrific view. This smart, modern, hotel has excellent facilities and an ideal location in the centre of Brighton, a five minute stroll from the sea front. Highly recommended.

the only thing I found was there was only 1 shower gel, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner etc in the bathroom and I had to ask for more. the staff were friendly and efficient and I would definitely recommend the hotel and would go back there again myself

Absolutely fantastic helpful staff , great surroundings and very funky interior. Everything was beautiful and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. It was a lovely chilled out weekend and I havent stopped recommending the hotel to my friends and family. Cant wait to return!

"Made an impression - Austin Powers eat your heart out!"

A fabulous overnight stay! The rooms was superb and soundpoof - plug in your ipod and enjoy the surround sound - amazing! Great service, Great Location! A return visit is a definate.

"room terrible but paid for an upgrade"

myhotel looks great and different in a great location. Unfortunately when I arrived to my room I thought the blind was closed, but in fact the window was about 3 feet away from a wall with no natural light for several metres it was the most depressing room I have ever been offered anywhere in the world. There was no way I could stay in it, I called reception who offered an upgrade if I made a very fair payment to do so. I changed from a very bad room room for the price to a great one for the new price. Fairplay to the staff they sorted me out, but if I had no more budget it would have been a massive let-down. The superior room was fantastic as was the breakfast. It`s a good hotel but you may enter the good/bad room lottery - I am sure the majority of rooms are good but i would not book again without knowing the room I was getting.

"Great hotel. Smart funky rooms and good service"

Really enjoy staying at this hotel. The location is great and the rooms are an oasis of calm to retreat to. But down in the hotel bar it is jumping all night long. Great !

"Great funky hotel in a fantastic location."

We had a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend stay. The hotel is great and very modern. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are great. The location is very central however the hotel was a little difficult to find due to it not being on SatNav yet. However with that said, the receptionist stayed on the phone me with me and directed me to the Hotel as we drove through the centre of Brighton. The valet parking is great however a little pricey for Bank Holiday .... £25.00. Overall the hotel was great and we had a fantastic weekend there.
