"Beautiful Hotel"

Beautiful hotel set in fabulous gardens right on the River Thames. Lovely rooms, brilliant breakfast and very friendly staff. My only critisism would be the lack of available seating around the pool!

"Wonderful end to a wonderful wedding day"

My daughter got married on 14 July and a party of us stayed at the Oakley Court Hotel as it was near to the reception venue. We were all delighted with our rooms, the staff were most pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, the setting was beautiful etc etc. When I finally got to my bedroom at approx 2.0a.m. I found my husband had locked our suitcase but left the keys at home. I went down to reception and a very kind concierge came up with some pliers and broke the lock for me - he was truly my saint in shining armour! We came back on Sunday afternoon to all meet up post wedding and had a delicious tea on the terrace served by a very good natured waiter. Definitely consider the Oakley Court if you want somewhere with the "wow" factor. In fact we live 15 minutes away but think we will come back later in the summer for a weekend and we shall pretend we are far away from home.

The grounds and hotel are beautiful however I was not impressed with the staff at the hotel. The receptionist in the leisure club was very helpful but all staff in the hotel itself were cold, slow, never a smile on their face, and generally quite condescending. Unfortunately this gave us a tainted view of the hotel, despite finding the room and facilities fantastic.

"Fantastic hotel situated between Windsor/ Maidenhead. "

We, a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 4 years old, stayed a weekend in June at Oakley Court. I can highly recommend the hotel for its surroundings, service, breakfast and facilities available - gym is good size compared to other hotels, swimming pool has a shallow end for relaxation alt for kids to play in that are not as water confident to go in deep side (1.2m deep). The only con I can see are the prizes on the ala carte AND bar menu, but it is a 4 star hotel and maybe just maybe they can get away with it Take your time at breakfast, the food cold as warm is super! We stayed at the seperate wing/ building where the pool/gym are located which turned out to perfect room allocation for us. Yes we had to cross and walk 1mins to main building for breakfast, but we were away from the main hotel buzz ie wedding parties etc and kids could really use the pool without getting cold going from A to B. Will stay again - highly recommend!

"Great hotel as always"

We come to Oakley every 3-6 months and always have lovely stay, plenty of places to visit close by including Windsor, Henley on Thames, legoland Windsor.

"Great to return"

lovely hotel where we had spent our wedding night 10 years ago. Just as nice as we remembered it. The only complaint was charging 4.99 for an hours wifi or 9.99 for the day. Seriously, charging for wifi in 2012??????

"very good service and friendly staff, cant fault the room cleaning either."

Down side, no black pudding for breakfast!!! Also no mushrooms. Did notice on the corridor to our room, the carpet was lifted and frayed, quite a hazard, also the breakfast room was very busy, which is good but the entrance by steps was very narrow and congested with people waiting to be seated and people getting their food, and staff standing around.

"Good hotel, although some decor could be better, food/drink expensive"

We were in a courtyard room which was very spacious for our family of four. The decor of the room seemed unfinished. I got the impression they were in the middle of redecorating the floor. It was also very convenient for the swimming pool and gym. Swimming pool was a lovely temperature and gym well equipped. The setting is very nice and if the weather had been better we would have explored the grounds more. Breakfast was okay, although our tariff see to restrict us from having things like smoked kippers etc. Only real gripe with breakfast was the poor quality of the juice. All the staff seemed helpful. We felt the bar food and drinks were on the expensive side, but had a most enjoyable ploughmans and bottle of wine to share and they kindly brought more bread.

"Great weekend with family"

Hotel , hotel grounds and facilities excellent and location perfect for family gathering from overseas and arriving in heathrow. We booked 4 double rooms and a family room . This hotel appears to be ipopular for weddings at weekends and business during week , the only complaint I have is family rooms close and directly opposite wedding function room so family in this area had disturbed 3 nights

"Beautiful hotel"

The hotel and staff were really lovely and the hotel was beautifully maintained. It was fab walking in the grounds and along the river and learning abou the history of the building. The room was a little disappointing as there was a lot of noise from people walking above and the plumbing made loud noises from time to time and also the sink taps were faulty.

"Excellent food and service. We felt `pampered` by the whole experience."

The food is excellent and the staff attentive to all needs. We did want a Spa weekend, however the spa and hotel are seperate, however we will rebook ensuring we coordinate our spa treatments with a stay at the hotel.

"All rounders in all aspects."

Although it was a very short stay and due to the nature or circumstance of my stay, all the staff were very helpful. The setting of the hotel was wonderful and the grounds and lake are breathtaking. I definately hope to return and will surely recommend.

â??Allâ?? staff were friendly and professional including the cleaning and bar staff aswell as those carrying out maintenance on site. Not once did anyone pass without a greeting and a smile. The room was of high standard and without fault. Not sure we would have been as happy had we been allocated a room overlooking the carpark but were delighted to be overlooking the river and grounds. "This hotel was superb!!"

Fantastic service during my stay all staff were pleasant and helpful.I stayed in a well appointed room with a view and breakfast was piping hot and fresh.hotel was has been well maintained and is now on my return list.

"Beautiful setting, very helpful staff, excellent facilities!"

We had a very restful stay at Oaskley Court. The hotel is easy to find and conveniently located close to the M4 and very close to Windsor. The hotel itself is clean, well organised with excelletn facilities. The gym and other leisure facilities were well presented and more than adequate for a weekend stay.The rooms were large and had everything we needed and again very clean. Our only complaint was the rooms were a bit hotLovely food, great service, reasonably priced wine all made for a great stay.Would definitely recommend

overall a good place to stay. generally very helpful but i was deeply disappointed in the lack of flexibility re changing bookings. make sure you really do want to stay there on that night before booking otherwise you may be forced so to do against your new plans

"Lovely hotel and dinner was very good but the dining room lacks warmth and ambiance."

We had to completely remake our bed as under sheets were not in place at all. Could not open windows as too stiff. When we settled the bill were not even asked if we had a pleasant stay. This was a present to my husband and was not upto expectations.

The building and setting are stunning. The rooms are comfortable & clean. Staff are friendly.The only down side was the steam room was unclean. Also, same as most places, not enough tea bags etc in the room!

Country house was amazing - the view, decor and surroundings. However, amajor let down was the staff. I would have expected paying a high fee yielding a high level of service. I can`t remember a single person working at Oakley court smiling at customers. Secondly,we were made to wait 30 minutes for breakfast. Overall the location is amazing but other factors werenot good

"Celebrated our 40th Wedd Ann at Oakley Court with our family. AMAZING!!"

From online booking to Our stay at Oakley Court we had an amazing stay. We were upgraded to a river facing room, and the service and staff outstanding. I must mention Daryl, who on Sat night went to extensive lengths to fulfill a few requests with agenuine smile on his face! He is a valuable asset to your organisation. We will be back with the whole family in the spring. Congrats on a wonderful Hotel. Thankyou. Colleen Howard

"Great hotel, expensive but worth it for a treat"

Good hotel, great facilities, were good with my small children, However expensive to eat in, we only ate in the bar, the bill was over £30 for 3 people for snacks and drinks... definately London prices.

"Lovely Hotel"

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and the room was clean with a fantastic view, the grounds were spectacular and I enjoyed a great game of tennis in the sun. If I had one criticism, it would be that the breakfast was a little bit of a let down; in terms of choice. The fruit salad was of poor quality and it would be nice to have fresh orange juice.

very good level of customer service, nothing to much trouble even at 4.30am. Beautiful setting, facilities all of good standard. As we had an early flight we unfortunately didn`t experience the breakfast or late check out.
