We had a fab stay at the crowne plaza, staff were so helpful and we were able to check in before 12!!! Hotel is beside lots of eateries and the tube brilliant location and a very pretty hotel

I was in a wheel chair and in a room for people with mobility problems. This room was very spacious, the walk in shower had a seat and grab rails. Over all the cleanliness was first class. The toiletries in the bathroom were very good quality. In the public areas the staff were always on hand and willing to help.

The hotel is excellent value for money, and conveniently located to explore London. Take advantage of the early bird menu at the hotel restaurant, really good food, and competatively priced.The family room was clean, modern, but a little small.The hotel receptionists were a little unwelcoming, and cold, but the conceierge, Raj, has a excellent knowledge of London, is approachable, and helpful. I would stay at the hotel in the future.

Absolutely first rate hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient, despite my over excitement with the automatic mini bar! Service, quality and standard were all excellent, we cannot wait until we can stay there again. Central position and easy access to the underground, museums and the Royal Albert Hall, which is where we were on the Friday evening of our stay. Thank you we cannot wait to see you all again.

Second stay in London this year found this hotel on the web via Hotels direct, we arrived 11am to find not only our room available but up-graded to a suite. The underground station was just a walk over the road. We only had breakfast which was good old fashioned English as well as continental.

Room not ready on arrival and room was not made up on second day. Room itself fine and, being at the back rather than on the street, was quiet and had pleasant view of church and gardens. Good location opposite underground and number of restaurants nearby. Breakfast fine and service good. Television difficult to get working -- really only geared to trying to sell on-demand videos. (Instructions would have helped -- and did not bother in the end.)

"Really comfortable, efficient, attractive and great location"
We were really pleased with this hotel. It was a family weekend break to visit the History and Science museums and was perfectly located for these and good for short tube rides to Picadilly, Covent Garden etc. The hotel was attractive, extremely clean and comfortable and very good value for money when booked through Hotel Direct. My only complaint was that the air conditioning was not efficient at all and we were baking all through the night. Apparently nothing was wrong with the air con it just didn`t work very well. We were given an electric fan by the helpful staff but it didn`t really make a difference as it was a hot weekend. The breakfast was great, our two kids 5 and 8 were in heaven!

Positives++The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious having stayed in a non smoking family room. Situated on a quieter side of the hotel providing a good nights sleep for us all. The breakfast was standard hotel fayre. Minor negatives--- the lift is in demand at popular times as there is only one. You can watch the doors open and close numerous times to be greeted by either a full lift or once you manage to squeeze in full landings prior to arriving at your chosen floor.The parking is close by however, The Hotel Direct website stated £25 for 24 hrs. The Crowne Plaza site states £35. It is actually £27 for 24 hrs. I wasn`t going to quibble over £4 extra but it could but more accurate in its information to prevent blank looks at the concierge desk.Oh and £12 for two halfs of lager and a lemonade...go to the pub opposite Gloucester Rd tube station.

Spent the last few days at the crowne plaza kensington and we cant think of a reason why we wouldn`t recommend the hotel to anyone. The staff where very friendly right from the start, they remembered my name and nothing was too much trouble.
