Have to say we did not feel we had value for money. The rooms were very basic and a bit dingy. Could have done with a lick of paint. Also only one socket point (apart from the TV so was a bit of pain to recharge phones and use hair dryer etc.). Also the shower door and the toilet seat were broken. Not a bad breakfast but staff were a bit grumpy. Receptionist were very nice and helpful (the evening receptionist came straight up to sort out the problems with the shower door and toilet seat and was very accommodating when we wanted to change one of the rooms because it was a bit grim and had a very small bed) - only thing is I felt they were trying to push us into going to the hotel restaurant for dinner and it really wasn`t what we wanted.

"A satisfactory blend of comfort and value"
This hotel provides basic but comfortable facilities and the staff are particularly friendly and helpful. It is a bit of a trek to walk into the city and back but there is a bus stop very close by and the underground is only half a mile away. The restaurant is clean and bright and the food was excellent.
