The hotel was modern, clean and the staff were very welcoming. It was my husband`s 50th birthday and they upgraded us to a suite (we had booked 2 superior rooms, one with three beds for my children). It was lovely. I am a very fussy person, and whilst I love Rome I do not like the traditional small and ornately decorated hotel bedrooms, with old bathrooms showing wear and tear-this hotel was the complete opposite, whilst still feeling elegant. The breakfast was OK. We had a nightcap at the bar-the drinks are very pricey.
