Great location. Clean & comfortable, serving a very good breakfast. Staff were very attentive.Wi fi could be quicker but that should not distract from the accommodation and the character of the property. Will certainly recommend to others and return ourselves.

"Quality, comfort, style and accessibility ....superb...."
The room was fabulous, the staff really pleasant and helpful and the hotel is really well situated for access to both the old and the new town. I loved the fact that mobile phones are not allowed in the lounges and the whole place has a beautiful air of quality about it. I would heartily recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Edinburgh..

"Fantastic find"
Edinburgh can be noisy......so it was a relief to find that a Trip Sdvisor review was correct. If you have one of the rooms at the back (we had room 15) it is on a little mews road and not the main road. The room was very clean and tidy. Well furnished with the added bonus of a mini kitchenette. A good comfy bed and blackout blinds. A great find!

This hotel reeks of a private gentlemen`s club with classic internal decoration, doors, pillars etc.and is not for those seeking modern, plastic accommodation. Bedrooms are functional rather than luxurious but very clean with all the facilities one would wish for including ironing board, iron and electric safe. Breakfast is a delight with plenty of choice. My one adverse comment relates to the state of the banners on the flagpoles attached to the front of the building. As they are the only indication, from a distance, that the building houses an hotel, they should be replaced immediately with bright, clean new versions.

"Classic regal period charm"
We have just had the pleasurable experience of a few days at the Royal Scots Club. The staff were more than helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and facilities have a traditional charm with modern convenience. We would recommend the Royal Scots Club to anyone and will stay there again when next in Edinburgh. Super breakfast too!
