Hi,We stayed at cobden for 3 nights. We were approached by a female receptionist who was extremely rude, she didnt welcome us but instead asked us what we wanted. She was serving another customer and was talking over him to find out what we wanted. When we got to the room it was awful as there was no lighting so we asked to change rooms the receptionist was huffing and puffing saying that she was off duty at 3pm and that we had to wait for another staff member. The lighting in the room was better but we had problems with the shower. And we will not book again.

Nice staff, and a comfortable bed and good shower. Parts of the hotel however were a bit scruffy, the pool was very small and the opening hours of it were a bit too late if you have to leave early for flights etc.

"The worst hotel ever... Woke up early so I could leave"
Having stayed in hotels all over the world I would like to say that this was torture.Everything that could go wrong did. Noises neighbours. Awful room service food. Lights and hair fryer not working. Insect. Grime and dirt. Shower door broken. Absolutely disgusting. I recently stayed in the same chain in Berlin so thought to give this a chance! No where near the quality. If I didn`t have a sick child who wanted his bed I would have left and preferred to have slept in my car or if there wasn`t a storm on the street. Oh yes curtain that wouldn`t shut with flood light outside. I feel robbed. I thought staying at a hotel was supposed to be restful no way I wish I had listened to trip advisor.

Internal glass of window was broken, so the room was very noisy. I was disturbed by a cleaner at 8.00am who came in trying to clean. I will not be recomending this hotel

Hotel room was nice & spacious although more storage space for clothes .... some shelves and/or some drawers needed. Room service staff were very helpful and frequent. The bar staff girls, Monna, Steph, Nicki, Isabella & Louise were a great team and to be commended for all their hard work!

With the gym, pool, bar and restaurant on site this was a good value hotel. However, the heating in room and 2 lights didn`t work and the wardrobe was broken which let down what would have otherwise been an excellent venue

I didn`t sleep as all night all I could hear was the lift going up and down and opening. the room in front of the lift needs a thicker more sound proof door. Hotel room was ok.

The size of the twin room was good and the facilities within the hotel were very good. The fire alarm went off twice in the night due to some unfavourable guests but was given free breakfast in the morning when requested. Half price cocktails and £5 off your next booking! I would stay there again but I wish they would deal with "problem" guests a little quicker. We seen this party in the resturant and the problems started way before they decided to go to bed.
