"Service was very poor"
Nice hotel but spoilt by very slow service at lounge bar, had to wait over an hour for food and they ran out of a popular beer.. Also communication was not very good. Quite confusing as to where you could eat between this hotel and its sisterhotel next door.

"Our stay "
We had a really good stay at the hotel and the view was great. The breakfast was delicious.The only negative thing we would say is that the fire alarm, or some sort of alarm, went off at 1:30am and woke us both up in a panic and we had no idea what was happening or why it went off. We then had trouble getting back to sleep because it really shocked us, and we weren`t given an explanation by staff as to what happened.

"Excellent Hotel "
I took my young daughters for a mini break and we absolutely loved it! The room was excellent and the hotel very nicely furnished and beautifully clean. We had food at the bar which was of very good quality. We used the facilities next door. The girls spent hours in the pool, so mum was happy too. Amazing location too!

It was a good experience but the only thing I was disappointed with was the breakfast because I found hair on my break beans and my poached egg.

"Old and tired"
Freezing room when I arrived , no heating on even though I was expected and it`s December. Rusty shower , mildew on window and tiles , grouting blackpeeling paintwork , bathroom freezing . Needs refurbishing totally , won`t stay here again.

"very pleasant stay"
good hotel and room (1104 ) very clean. Pleasant staff keen to help. Breakfast excellent, had one evening meal in which was good and reasonably priced - £17.50 for two courses.Down side is price of drinks - £10.90 for pint of stella and baileys on ice hence hardly saw anyone in bar area . Would certainly use this hotel again
