"Star Service"

Staff were polite, very helpful and spoke very good English despite how grumpy I was after an early morning start. They answered all of our questions on travelling around Paris and had additional tips for us. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was spotless.

"good location, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast simple but nice."

We were given room off reception. We were woken by phones, people moving around and staff preparing for breakfast. They changed our room the next day which was no problem. The second room was small but fine. We enjoyed our stay.

"Fabulous location"

On arrival late at night we were a little concerned, but we had a good (small) room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The hotel is in a brilliant location very close to the Eiffel Tower, cruise boats and Metro stations. The breakfast was very good and the guest lounge needs to be looked at in detail as it is really interesting. The bed and bedding were very good, wardrobe space is very limited, but all in all, good for our 4 day break in Paris.

Room was slightly small but the decor was fresh and clean. The staff more than made up for the small room nby their warm and friendly manner

"Great location gentle walks to access views of tower! Lovely area of Paris "

Arriving by taxi driven round the Arc de Triomphe what a beginning. Walked to Trocadero so close 5-10 minutes ,nice cafes and restaurants locally.Shame about the sales of souvenirs at the Trocadero making taking photos of the tower at night difficult. Great location of hotel easy to get on bus tours in Ave Klieber and walked down to batobus at the tower. We had sunny weather which made Paris so enjoyable and beautiful. Had not been for 20yrs won`t leave it that long again. Went with 18 yr old daughter who loved it and am planning to go back to take husband and son too soon! Even though we were on ground floor room lovely good buffet breakfast and friendly staff.

"Is the French 4 star different to what we are used to everywhere else?"

Feel slightly let down by the four star rating. Everything very clean and of good quality but certain basics missing, no bath for a start, only a shower, no face flannels, no tea or coffee in the room, which was much smaller than I expected. If you moved the furniture you could actually sit down. Buffet Breakfast not bad, very good scrambled egg and plenty of basics. Wouldn`t like to pay 20 euros for it though. Excellent restraunt called "Victor" 200 metres away which I would reccomend but suggest booking to avoid waiting. I suppose this is Paris and one should be used to restricted dimentions in Hotels but there must be better value around.

"Nice Clean Hotel"

This is a really good hotel, centrally located and very clean. The only draw back I would say that for us it was too warm in the room, other people banging their bedroom doors was also a problem but maybe we were just unlucky! The staff were very helpful and always on hand to answer any questions you may have. Overall a good city centre hotel and I would recommend to other people.

"ideal location in a small but lovely hotel"

staff very helpful, rooms small but comfortable, bathroom could do with a little decoration and some shelving but all in all an ideal hotel for visiting all attractions in central paris, i would definately stay at this hotel again

"Beautiful hotel"

Perfectly located for eiffil tower and arc de triumph(walking distance).very nice breakfast but staff were the best-could not help enough with directions getting us information.ect ect.made our stay memorable and would definatly recommend and stay again

Given the number of rooms, the breakfast room was not adequate for the number of people. We found ourselves almost loitering as we waited for tables to become available. The night reception staff were very helpful and friendly.Overall a very quaint hotel. Centrally located and within easy access to tourist areas. Would recommend it and stay there again.

Room was good size and very clean, extremely comfortable bed.Great location between Arc and the Trocadero, easy walk to metro.Breakfast was better than many I`ve had in Paris hotels and general service at check in/out was good.

"Lovely friendly, clean hotel with very helpful staff."

We really liked the hotel. It`s location was central & perfect for sight seeing. The staff were all friendly & helpful & the rooms were of a high standard of cleanliness. The only thing we didn`t like so much about the hotel was the breakfast. You had to be up early or a lot of things ran out namely cooked items & croissants. This was a bit disappointing as we wanted a lie in on our holidays!

"This is a must stay hotel"

You just cannot fault the Waldorf Trocadero. From the minute you arrive the staff are so attentive and helpful, the rooms are absolutely brilliant and the food at breakfast was wonderful and fresh. The reception staff booked our evening show and dinner cruise and it was all so easy and cost no more. The position of the hotel is brilliant. Although we love walking and did walk a long long way, it was nice that the Metro was just at the bottom of the next street so we also used that a lot as well. Within 10 minutes walk you were faced with the brilliant sight of the Eifal Tower and from then on it was one sight after the other. We have already recommended the hotel to our daughter for when she visits Paris next year and we only hope she has such a wonderful time as we did in lovely lovely Paris.

"Fantastic location for all attractions"

Waldorf Hotel was a fatastic venue for visiting Paris, the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the continental breakfast was delicious and the service was ist class. we would definately stay in this hotel again

"Clean, great location, friendly staff but room too small and no facility to make tea / coffee."

The hotel is in a great location to see the near by sites and to go for meals, etc. Staff are well presented and are very friendly whicjh made us feel relaxed. As this was promoted as a 4 star hotel you might of expected a bit of a waow factor and although we really enjoyed our stay, we only returned to the hotel to sleep and get cleaned up!

"Comfortable, clean and cosy."

The Waldorf Trocadero is situated in a great place for seeing the sights of Paris by foot. It`s a very comfortable and cosy hotel but the rooms are quite small and I did expect more for the price of the stay.

"Fantastic 4* hotel"

The hotel was simply fantastic. Very helpfull staff, we wanted to find a romantic restaurante, and asked which one the receptionist would reccomend. Not only did she pick a great place, but she booked us in and even offered us a taxi. Simply excellent!

"Good looking, lovely rooms and bathrooms, great staff"

Our first trip to Paris for 25 years and staying at your hotel made it very special. We loved everything from the wonderful placing so close to everything to the attractive and attentive staff and the lovely breakfast.The only possible downside was that there was only one big fluffy bathrobe and no tea and coffee making facilities, otherwise perfect and we shall be back very soon.Thank you for looking after usClare Morton

"Small but excellent rooms near many of Paris`s treasures!"

I would stay again. Courteous and helpful staff, beautiful and comfortable rooms, though small. Within short walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, etc. When I return to Paris, the Waldorf Trocadero is number one on my list!

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Hotel was in a perfect location, easy access to all the main attractions. The only downside to this Hotel is it didnt have a bar area, I think the lounge area should be converted.

Be careful at breakfast - it`s all very tasty but there are some hidden charges if you don`t look out for them on the displayed menus. The hotel was clean, very well presented and located quite close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eifel Tower. The staff were extremely helpful and speak English very well.

"A very good 3 * Hotel but not quite 4*"

Lovely room,nice location although a bit off the beaten track and the nearest Metro is not Victor Hugo but Boissieres on line 12.Staff very helpful and pleasant as good as any of the four times we have been to Paris.

"Good hotel, nice rooms but a little small for a 4 star. "

This was a lovely little hotel - breakfast was SUPERB!!!! It lets itself down with the lack of bar & dining facilities. It would have been really nice to have come back after a long day around Paris to a nice drink (or two!!) in the bar & somewhere lovely to eat. It meant that we HAD to go out to eat when all we wanted to do was relax. Also the rooms were a little small for a 4 star. This would probably be judged as a very good 3 star in England. All in all a lovely trip but would try a different hotel next time.

"Great Location - very very comfortable"

The hotel is quite small but the extremely friendly staff are most helpful which makes up for its shortcomings. The rooms are small but impeccably clean. The best thing going for the hotel is its close proximity to the Champs Elysee & the Eiffel Tower.
