"Clean and comfortable"
Clean and comfortable hotel. 5 mins form nearest metro station. Run-down local area. Excellent concierge service. WiFi only worked on 1 day out of 3. Only 1 English language channel on TV.

"Quite comfortable and extremely helpful and accommodating"
The staff of the Hotel both on reception and the night porters were extremely pleasant and helpful. They give excellent suggestions on how to access some of the places we wished to visit and suggested ways we could travel which allowed us to feel less like tourists and more like people who fell in love the city. Food was excellent and the rooms maintained to a high standard and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

"Perfect for short break."
Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Great location for promanade and beach. Modern, quiet , simple with no frills. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would have liked tea & coffee facilities in room. Also a warning!! Did myself an injury !!. Door stopper for ensuite door placed right at base of toilet .Kept hitting it with my toes.

"Great hotel in a perfect location!"
Unfortunately, I only stayed there for two nights, but there is nothing I could possibly complain about.Staff was very friendly and helpful - recommended great restaurants and places to visit. The Location is very convenient - only a few minutes from the beach close the the harbour and a nice walk to city centre (about 20minutes). Room was very clean, spacious and had all the facilities one needed. Overall it was a short but lovely stay!

"Spotlessly clean and very friendly!"
Fab location near the seafront but not too far away from all the sights. Easy walk to Metro. Large bedrooms, bright and airy. The only downside,there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Very good modern hotel , pay for top floor upgrade for great views over sea only â?¬20 per night good value breakfast ,only down side is some traffic noise from road . But would expect that anywhere in Barca. The fact that it is new (2010) means that everything is very modern and new

On arrival we were checked in quickly and efficiently. Information was very thorough on buses, metro stations and places to eat.

The young lady behind the bar was very considerate and polite but was on her own trying to deal with 20 odd customers,which is not possible. Breakfast was good but again staff under pressure.

"Extremely welcoming and helpful staff."
The hotel was well organised and spotlessly clean. With the exception of one experieince all the hotel staff were excellent. The main disadvantage with the hotel was that their own restaurant had a very limited menu and the food was not particularly good for the majority of the time. Had there been restaurants within walking distance of the hotel this would not have been a problem. As, unfortunately I was ill and unable to eat anything, my husband had little choice but to eat at the hotel so the lack of local restaurants became a real difficulty.

Just a few minutes` walk of: Metro station, beach, mini-markets, restaurants and hop-on/hop-off bus stop is simply all what you need for convenience. Room was in a good condition. Breakfast was very good - our son has food allergy and all staff were very supportive and made every possible effort to cater for him. Thank you..!

"Great value for money!!!"
This hotel is great value for money. We didn`t think it would be so nice. Hotel is new and very clean, room we stayed in was small but that`s all we needed as most of our time we spent site seeing or on the beach. It is very close distance from the beach, about 5 minutes walking, with nice coffee shop and McDonalds on the way. Room was very clean and bathroom was lovely, clean and well equipped as weel. Next time we`re in Barcelona, we will book the same hotel again.

"Clean, comfortable with a friendly service!"
The GBB hotel 4 Barcelona was a ideal hotel for us to stay in. The location was convenient, the price was good and it was a clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly and made us very welcome. I would certainly think about staying with them again if ever I get the chance to go to Barcelona for another visit.
