"Clean, modern hotel"
Lovely modern room and bathroom. sadly though,no tea or coffee making facilities.

"Very nice hotel."
Hotel was very nice within walking distance to everything but room could have been better. Problem with shower tray not draining away quickly enough and overflowed. When we opened curtains we found our view was a wall, because of this we had to have the lights on most of the time. As the room was at the back it was very quiet. Could have done with tea/coffee making facilities. Would book again but not room 100,101, 102 or 103. We were in room 101. Staff were very helpful and very pleasant.

A clean modern hotel, with pleasant helpful staff and easy access for tour buses, taxis and main attractions. Only cirticism would like bigger wardrobes and more hangers! Absolutely loved Barcelona, although little expensive for us, but look forward to another trip, probably your hotel again..

My friend and I stayed last week and could not fault this hotel. Very modern and clean, wonderful breakfasts, lovely room, especially the shower!!!

"Lovely hotel near to Las Ramblas about 10 minute stroll"
On arrive we was very pleased with our choice staff where very welcoming & friendly we hadn`t booked breakfast but they included it as free of charge for us which was a nice gesture, we asked for extra pillows & they where delivered to our roomstraight away, hotel staff so helpful we booked open air tour bus which was a great way to see all the other sites, the girl behind the bar was really friendly recommended some Resturants to us will deffinately stay here again

"Spacious, clean room, comfy bed"
Stayed in a twin room with my daughter on a weekend break. Room a good size and beds comfy. Nice bathroom although took a while to work out how to turn shower on. Could have done with tissues in the bathroom but toiletries were nice. Used to tea/coffe making facilities in the UK so missed these but guess it is because they have them on sale. Did not have breakfast as considered it too expensive even at the reduced rate of 14 euros each (18 if you don`t prebook). There was a big mirror in the bathroom and a long mirror by the door but would have appreciated one over the desk for applying makeup. Staff very friendly especially the guy who stored our luggage on our last day and arranged a taxi for us. Overall a lovely hotel and enjoyed our stay

We stayed at Alexandra BCN for 2 nights in April 2013, what a beautiful hotel with outstanding service. Check-in was quick and easy, our room was beautiful. The bathroom was lovely, and I`m missing the powerful shower. The hotel was immaculate, staff friendly without being imposing. De Luca, the bar in the foyer, served the most amazing drinks and was a pleasant place to sit with friends. I would recommend this hotel in an instant and would love to return one day.

Just returned home from a fantastic three night stay at the Hotel Alexandra - fantastic room, great staff and perfect location - not a single complaint! the hotel could not have been better! hoteldirect were also very easy to book with and would recommend!

"A first rate hotel in a convenient location"
We stayed at this hotel for an Easter break.Could not find any fault with it.The staff are extremely and consistantly helpful.The accomodation is contempoary in style and luxurious with many extras.We booked on a room only basis.We added in the breakfast which was most enjoyable.We would definately return and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel..

"Top location, everything is nearby. Aimed at the higher class clientele, overall enjoyable stay"
Some of the staff were rude (checked in at 1pm 5/4/2012) others were overly helpful, especially when we were flagging down a taxi at 3am to go clubbing. Nice stay, all ran smoothly, we were given an iron upon request. The water in the taps gave us electric shocks, the only complaint. Would stay here again.
