"Bumped to Thistle Holborn"
We were bumped to sister hotel, Thistle Holborn. It appeared better than Picadilly although a little further from theatres. We were dispatched there in a taxi and it was really lovely. We were upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was top quality too..

"Very friendly hotel "
The hotel was right in the heart of Piccadilly and so many theatres situated right on the door step the hotel room was comfortable however the room was very warm and we couldn`t open the window and the air con didn`t keep the room cool.However the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious.A very happy stay and would recommend this hotel to any visitor to London.

"Perfect location "
Perfect location for West End shows, Soho & Covent Garden. Our room was clean with a comfy bed. Our view looked towards Leicester Square. The staff were particularly welcoming and professional. Khadijah checked us in and out and arranged looking after our luggage until we were ready to head to the station. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to staying the area.

"Great location lovely room."
The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of picadilly circus. Was a little afraid of the noise, however the sound proofing was excellent. Unfortunately during our stay there was a fire in a shop 2 up from us which ment we got evacuated. Luckily for us the other Thistle hotel is 50 meters away so we got told to go there and wait further instructions. My only thought would be to improve on communication if in future a incident would arise. Apart from that, staff very helpful, breakfast lively and had a lovely weekend.

"Basically paid for location "
On arrival I asked if we could have a Sunday wake up, and breakfast in the room, but they said no. If we want food in the we would need to order take away. The only meal served was breakfast, meant to open at 7am, but when we went for breakfast at 7:15 was told it wasn`t ready. I ordered a suit with additional extras but again basically got nothing for the money just location. I wouldn`t stay here again.

Had a fantastic stay at Thistle Piccadilly, speedy checkin, friendly reception staff. Room on 7th floor very spacious, comfy bed and great shower. Fantastic location, right bang in the centre of the West End. Will definitely be staying here again on my next theatre break!

"Not what it was supposed to be"
When arriving we noticed we had no bath robes?online it stated these were included. When we asked reception the said they they weren`t but would send some to our room as we hadn`t packed any expecting them?they did not turn up at all. The shower was poor and cold. Tepid at best. Breakfast was undercooked and cold. That was when we finally got seated. The food area was extremely small for a hotel that holds so many guests. The only good thing was that the bed was comfortable!

The website shows the hotel as having great views of London eye and other London landmarks.As it was a double milestone birthday treat that seemed ideal.I rang hotel to request that my junior suite room had a view to be told there is only one such room.On arrival prior to checkin time I was advised that room wasn`t available but had noted my request and was to be given a room with a view of Leicester Square which was satisfactory...on return to check in and be allocated our room ..the view was of a candy store and burger restaurant.I spoke to the same receptionist who apologised but that was all that was available.The hotel did leave us a birthday card and complimentary glass of Prosecco which was appreciated but the room was a disappointment.

"The Thistle Hotel holborn. "
Apart from no restaurant as such it was a very comfortable stay. Being in the centre of London the room was very quiet. We had a breakfast in a bar size room but very well organised. Hot and cold meals and tea, coffee toast. So no complaints.
