"Breakfast needs improving"

Queue for table, orange juice (?) very watery. Eggs fairly tasteless. Good choice of bread or croissants.

Hotel room was clean and tidy. Complaint would be the rooms were too hot even with the fan going and the window open. Also the pillows were practically flat which made for a uncomfortable night and there were no spares, but for one night it was acceptable . Breakfast choices were very good and the staff were very polite and friendly.

Fantastic location 5 mins walk from Gloucester Road tube and walking distance to Hyde Park and Royal Albert Hall. Rooms clean and have what you need.

"a hotel on the up"

The staff on front desk were polite and welcoming, the bathroom had just been refitted and a very good quality however the bedrooms and corridor had signs of aging. The breakfast was advertised as continental however it was half way measure between full English and continental. Overall the price and value for money especially in Kensington was very good

"Ideal location for the museums"

20 minute walk away to V&A, Science and Natural History Museums. Hotel simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast included and reasonable choices.

"Ok for price, breakfast ok, rooms a little to small,"

Stayed here for 2 nights,arrived after 6 check in no problem, good location, if stayed I more than couple nights then would have struggled to cope with room size as couldn`t swing a cat, breakfast ok only 1 problem & it was only me saying would have liked a bit bacon on me breakfast, but it don`t bother me fellow guests, But overall the stay was ok, would stay again considering issues

"Staff excellent hotel poor"

I arrived with my son to be greeted with lovely smiling ladies at the desk booked us in no problems . We got the lift to the basement to find carpets that looked to be honest filthy and the smell of cigarettes so bad myself and my son felt quite sick the room itself was quite adequate clean and beds comfortable but we had no towels no drinking cups and no tea n coffee of which my son had to run back upstairs to ask for , staff safe the day and arrived immediately with missing items In the morning we went gown for breakfast to be met by a young lady who certainly did not want to be there took our room number and then just stared at us ! so I asked if we could seat ourselves she muttered yep was not impressed by the chicken sausages cheap beans bread and over cooked scrabbled egg overview desk staff wonderful morning and all night But not mpressed with hotel at all or food and would never stay again or advise others to staySr fields room b23 stay from 16th to the 18th may

"Adequate but poor accommodation quality"

The hotel is very well located for central London attractions but the poor quality of the room (B4) let it down. It is in a quiet location and only a 10 min walk from the tube station.The room was so small that the bed had to be moved against the window wall to allow the door to open properly.There was no where to put suitcases except on the tiny bit of floor space so we had top step over them all the time.There was only one bedside table (because there wasn`t room for another one!)The bedside table shelf collapsed because of inadequate support.There was no hot water in the evenings for the shower or whb.The heating unit failed to come warm on the second night, so we had to do without it before getting colder. The TV sound was poor.Otherwise the room served our purpose of providing inexpensive accommodation for our two night stay in London but I could not recommend the hotel to others without seeing a better appointed room.

Allocated a basement bedroom with noisy equipment running all night. Bathroom absolutely tiny. Staff asked for £5 per item, for luggage to be held in store for a few hours. This was reduced to £5 for both items but only after we protested. This is the first time in years of world travel that we`ve had to pay for baggage to be held. We would not readily choose this hotel again

It`s near the tube in a nice area. Looks great from the front. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Room small but comfy. Plenty of hot water. Whole hotel needs refurbishing asap. Breakfast was fine but chaos. Had to wait ages for a table then no plates, no cups, no crockery and food top ups not made frequently enough.

only complaint fire alarm went off ,false alarm nobody took charge of the situation to inform us where to go and to tell us it was safe to return to our rooms .everyone just went back to there room not knowing if it was ok to do so other than that it was very good.

"central to everywhere"

The Hotel was close to centre of London and it took hardly anytime to get where you wanted to go. It was quiet despite having quite a few guests. The room was small for a twin but was adequate. It was clean with comfortable beds. Being in the basement meant we were not wakened up with sunshine streaming in the window at crack of dawn...we had no window. Towels could have been bigger as well as the cups in the room....mugs would have been better. But on the whole it was a nice hotel.

Not the best hotel I have ever stayed in The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was good hot and plenty full but the rooms are very small and quite tired. Could do with a freshen up.The first room we were give didn`t have a window so we asked to be moved and were given a room on the top floor which did have a windowDon`t think I would stay again

the whole package was very good value for money,however the hotel itself was very average,small rooms,tiny bathroom,great location for shops and tube stations,breakfast at the hotel very cheaply done,good for the purpose of our stay with the main attraction being the show but not if you are looking for modern or luxury!

"Tiny room"

The standard double room is tiny. I complained and got upgraded but even the upgrade room was very small. Hardly any room for two adults to move in the room. The bathroom is even tinier! Very small wash basin and very loud and annoying fan which comes on every time the bathroom light switch is turned on with no other way of turning it off. The reception area is nice and modern but as soon as you walk on to the floors where rooms are, it dart looking rather shabby. Helpful and friendly staff and rooms reasonably clean.

"Queue early for breakfast "

The hotel was ideally suited and close to transport links for our needs. It was sufficiently clean and had all cons but the bed was very hard so if you like your comfort in bed go somewhere else. The queue for breakfast was so long and moving so slowly that on the first morning of our start we left and had breakfast elsewhere! On the second and subsequent days we were off the blocks and waiting before 8 so that we didn`t waste too much time in the melee .Staff were helpful and fairly friendly. Overall...adequate
