"Convenient Hotel for Newcastle Centre"
The Hotel is a short walk from the Train Station and Newcastle Centre. We stayed on the seventh floor and lifts were available apart from our first morning when there had been a power cut.We paid for breakfast for our first morning but unfortunately the cooked breakfast wasn`t very good. The bacon was floating in grease, the eggs were hardly cooked and extremely runny which isn`t to everyone`s taste. We were unable to have tea or coffee as the machine didn`t seem to be working. I felt for £25 it was very disappointing, after our long trip up to Newcastle from Plymouth we were looking forward to starting our day with a good breakfast, I wouldn`t bother again.

Burnt food was served to my daughter for her dinner. Chips and chicken were all burnt. Toilet are not clean. Would not recommend

"Excellent location for Newcastle Arena"
We stayed here purely for the location being close to Newcastle Arena for a Madness concert. Lady on reception was pleasant, however the room was close to the lift area and we were woken constantly during the night with people returning to their rooms especially one chap threatening to break down the door, swearing and shouting abuse to his partner about 3am in the morning.Breakfast however was spot on, we had to leave early so we were down early and there was plenty of tables free, staff again pleasant in the restaurant and buffet style breakfast was hot and well stocked. Would stay here again but away from the lift area !

Overall our stay was excellent. Hotel was great, clean bright rooms, staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel had a good atmosphere. Buffet breakfast was one of the best I`ve had, plenty of choice and well presented. Would and have recommended this hotel to friends and family.

I have been staying here twice yearly for 2 years now. Unfortunately the food was not as good as it always has been previously. It could have done with being a bit hotter and my dessert was most confusing. I ordered sticky toffee pud. It arrived on a slate - no sides, just a flat slate, with a hard lump of pudding in the middle...and a jug of pouring cream. I commented on it to the waiter and his reply was that it made him nervous as well when he had to carry it across the restaurant...! I actually wasn`t too bothered as I was due to sit an exam in the morning and had other things on my mind. Apart from the food the hotel itself was nice and warm and as clean as usual. I wouldn`t let the food put me off, hopefully it was a one-off.

"Great hotel in the centre of newcastle near all the pubs and clubs..."
Went for my 50th birthday with a group of friends. Found the hotel to be of high standard. The rooms were really clean and the food is excellent. On arrival the staff were really wellcoming and friendly as well as through out our stay. I highly reccomend this hotel !!!

We booked into the Jurys Inn Newcastle simply because it was the closest to the Metro Radio Arena, as we went to see Lee Evans It was a lovely bonus to find the hotel so clean, modern and fresh, with staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. Well done to the entire team.

we were on a trip down memory lane after 51yrs wed visiting church we married in at Fenham and where we met in Whitley Bay,where we first lived in Tynemouth etc and when my daughter asked for radiator in room be fixed the manager gave us a bottle of wine and card and was very helpfull the room was loverly the meals delicious staff helpful a lovely hotel we would visit again .

very clean and comfortable room. Reception effecient and friendly. Good value and excellent location for us as we were there for an event at the Metro Arena only a couple of minutes walk away. There is plenty of parking at the time square car park opposite the hotel but this will cost £12.00 for an overnight stay (10-24hrs)

My stay at the Jurys Inn Newcastle was fantastic. From the moment I arrived the staff could not do enough to help me. I was able to check in early, and, when there was a problem with my room key this was sorted out quickly and efficiently by hotel staff. The room itself was spotlessly clean and on a very quiet floor. I had an evening meal in the hotel bar where the service was excellent and the food lovely. Breakfast the next morning was also superb. I was even able to leave my overnight bag at the hotel after I checked out so I could go and do some shopping in Newcastle before catching my train. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
