I cannot fault the Kildare St Hotel - exactly what it said it was, as a hotel in this proce bracket. Sure the rooms are a little tired and it isn`t super-polished or super-modern, our room had a very noisy extractor beside the window meaning we couldn`t vent the room, our only problem, but, and it is a big but, the room was comfortable, a decent size, the bathroom was functional, it was a 10 min walk from Temple Area, it had it`s own bar/food and music and breakfast was fine (not great) and at the price we paid, can`t complain.
