Found hotel dated with no family rooms available!

"Very friendly and welcoming."

The only comment would be that the lights in the bathroom were rather dim, and the pillows a bit synthetic and uncomfortable (but I`m used to a down pillow....)

"Convenient yes, but, not worth the money."

The room was dusty and not dusted during a 4 night stay.There was no telephone in the room. It was beside the bath.Only the bedside bureau to store clothes...two drawers. Luckily I was on my own.The window didn``t open enough to allow me to look out.The bed clothes were ill-fitting and no mattress cover/undersheet.Room service was not available during the political protest outside.Hotel management had done nothing to prepare for the biggest protest march of the decade.Food was poor. The mini caesar salad was covered in mayonaisse and served in a dog bowl.Reception staff are lower level. Scruffy, not trained properly and need to be pushed to be helpful.Why do they play tricks on the excelllent bar staff at the customers expense. I was born and reared south Dublin where sandwiches are made with butter not mayonaisse....yuck.Back to Stillorgan Park Hotel next time. Cheaper but better....and only a short taxi ride to town.

"O`Callaghan Mont Clare, Dublin"

The location was great and the staff were lovely, but otherwise, not really as expected. The room looked over heating ducts and the window was almost opaque (perhaps a good thing!). The TV didn`t work and despite reporting this straight away, was never fixed in the three days we were there. The bathroom was disappointing. The lighting was so dim you couldn`t see to do makeup (not so important for men, obviously) and the water temperature was almost uncontrollable in the shower. To be honest, I wouldn`t recommend it and wouldn`t stay there again.

"Helpful friendly staff ,nice clean rooms,bar prices not too bad compared too temple bar"

I came with friends for my 70th birthday and we nall had a great time,,hotel found me a great golf course toplay at and staff could not have been more helpful

first of all i wouldn`t recommend staying in temple bar!!! mont clare hotel is a 10 minute walk from temple bar, which is perfect because you will need a good night sleep and mont clare hotel do not bother you at all but are there when ever you need them. the room was nice and warm, cleaned every day, maids were brilliant and very friendly. also the receptionists were great, always presenting you with a smile :-) but like I said the location was perfect because temple bar is loud and goes on till early hours in the morning.mont clare price is very cheap which is what we all narrow things down to so trust me when I say stay here regardless what your party is or intentions.

"This Hotel not open we were transferred to the Davenport. Unable to comment on the Mont Clare"

Yes we have a comment about the Davenport Hotel. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay, but were very surprised that the Bar did not have an Ice Crusher as she enjoys her Baileys with crushed ice.

Great location - we could walk to grafton street to shop - hotel very good - staff friendly - excellent breakfast - a. Rey enjoyable weekend
