"Great hotel in close location to shopping area."
Had a 4 night stay at O`Callaghan Alexander Hotel in Dublin. Room was good size twin with all amenities required. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for shopping. Would definitely stay again.

"Accommodation is in need of some TLC"
I have stayed at the Alexander Dublin twice now on business. The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. However, the accommodation itself is in need of some refurbishment. Both bedrooms I have stayed in have had an old fashioned air conditioning unit which I have had to turn off on both occasions because it frequenty "clunks/bangs" loudly through which it is impossible to sleep. It is not possible to open the windows which are locked down so the room is then unbearably hot. In my recent stay the room (6124) had a number of lights not working and in the bathroom, by the bath, the woodwork had some damage, jagged edges jutting out (I have a photo should you require it) that could cause harm to a customer should they brush against it. In addition, the baths are so shallow that it is not possible to have a full soak and get one`s body completely wet, which is disappointing.

"Good 4 star hotel!"
Just stayed here for St Pats and the hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast however though lovely was expensive and should be offered at a cheaper price for residents!! Accommodation was good value for the money.
