The hotel was great and we had no complaints until we got to our room. Our room had a connecting door and I can only describe the other guests as the neighbours from hell. We could hear every word they were saying, this went on until 3 o clock in the morning. As we are ladies in our 70`s, and having had a very long train journey, we found this quite stressful. We did mention it to the hotel staff who suggested that we contact yourselves. Other than that the holiday was great.

"Excellent location in Portsmouth "
The hotel is located within the modern shopping complex of Gunwharf Quay and very close to the ferry wharves. Parking is in the underground car park and the hotel stamps your ticket for 24 hours once you are parked. The rooms are clean, staff are efficient and there is a variety of breakfast choices available at the self service breakfast dining area. My room was a corner room so had great views however there was some noise from the people leaving the bars and casino opposite the hotel during the night which disturbed sleep. There is a universal ?soap? dispenser by the basin which is expected to also be suitable as shampoo and shower gel. I would suggest you take your own.
