We arrived and the very 1st thing they wanted was £30 deposit for something we might have but didn`t want anyway next the room we went to unpack and the wardrobe door was broken expecting to relax after a long journey the repair man was back and forth for an hour also our key card didn`t work so was swapped twice on 2 separate occasions on check out we were told we couldn`t have our deposit back for 5 days if this is doubletree by hilton its no better than a cheap rate travelodge or prem Inn never again will I trust hotel booking via a 3rd party outrageous and poor.

"Great helpful staff"

Grill meal great . Shame the bar shut at 11pm when we came back from the show and only only one draft beer (Becks) available

"Comfortable room but disappointing service "

Whilst fire alarms are not predicted, going off this can be accepted but for hotel staff to be walking the corridors a little I`ve 1 hour after the fire alarm. knocking doors and telling people to check out is ridiculous? it`s 08:30! The question is why when check out time is 12pm!

"Excellent Choice"

My first visit to Doubletree Hilton Angel hotel. I found it warm, comfortable with excellent facilities.I had a couple of issues in the bathroom but after reporting them, they were quickly & efficiently dealt with. The location is really good with only a short walk to tube station or buses to Kings Cross. Service was great. Would return on another occasion. Highly recommended.

"Little things need tweeking"

I have given an average score because a few little things should have been addressed I.e no decaffeinated tea bags in the room. Asked for some to be brought up and was given a load of fruit and green tea!. Also at breakfast there were none at the drinks station. No milk was left in the room after the first day. There were only two in the fridge when we arrived. Again had to ask from them - this is a housekeeping error. The lamp on the top of dressing table did not work at all. I did report it on departure. This should be tested every day by house maids. The food at breakfast was excellent for my partner but I am a vegetarian. I asked if there any veggie sausage at all - the answer was a very disappointing NO! In this day and age this not acceptable. Also if you went down about 9am there were a lot of empty trays eg croissants- none Fried eggs - none No milk Cereal bowls - none. These sort of things should be replenished without having to be asked for.

"I`d expect so much more from a 4 star hotel. Very disappointed."

First impressions were ok. The hotel lobby is clean and well presented. Sadly out room wasn`t so. It was clean but lacked to many finishing touches that you`d expect from a 4 star hotel. For example, the bed didn`t have a Valance leaviong the old and grubby looking base exposed. The bathroom floor had grout missing from the tile work and where patches had been repair, the workmanship was dreadfull. Grout smeared over tiles, leaving rough edges on the floor.I was also disappointed with breakfast. The food was nice but barely warm, almost cold by the time it was back at your table. The coffee served was warm at best and I drink it black. Would have been cold with milk added.All in all, I`d expect more from Hilton. Very disapointed.

Good hotel, quite far from the tourist attractions & west end but an underground round the corner & iKi g Cross Station about 10/15min walk.Very good breakfast, enjoyed our stay.

"Dirty and drains are blocked"

Towels dirty on arrival and had to be all changed.Stains on the side of bed.Shower curtain dirty with stains.Shower/bath water does not drain so after I managed a shower where the water filled the bath and did not drain, my wife was unable to have a shower.

"hotel too busy"

no tea bags or milk to make tea. we were there for 2 nights, but room not cleaned on first night and had no towels for next night and still not able to make a cup of tea.- had to queue for breakfast as hotel was just too busy

Stayed for one night room was immaculate and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again

Hotel was clean as expected nothing special not better the a premier Inn only crumble I would have have is house cleaning knocking on our door at 8 in the morning telling us we were booking out today then knocking again twice before 9 when you have a 12 12:00 check out

"Very welcoming, clean and efficient "

From the moment we arrived, the staff were very kind and welcoming. Very efficient and the check in was very quick! Lovely room, perfect for a short stay !
