The hotel is in an excellent position. For sight seeing and the breakfast and service was v good. However the passages and rooms were very dark. The room windows are very small anyway however half of the windows are covered by immovable shutters, which makes the rooms very dark.

"Excellent Hotel"

Well positioned hotel for many of London`s attractions. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious. It was situated over-looking The Strand but we weren`t disturbed by any noise and slept well in the large comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. Can highly recommend

"The Strand Palace, London"

Lovely hotel on the strand in central London, close to west end shows which are all in walking distance. Staff extremely friendly and polite and very accommodating. Room was very clean but the mattress was a bit uncomfortable and the mini bar was very loud which did hinder sleep, this did not spoil our stay though. The breakfast is lovely, so much choice. My husband was celebrating his birthday and the hotel left a card and chocolates for him as a lovely surprise, can`t ask for more. Been to this hotel before and would book again as location is brilliant and the hotel is comfortable and friendly. Highly recommended.

"Luxury in the heart of London "

"Stunning hotel, very basic room"

I chose The Strand Palace expecting a little bit of luxury and a nice room. The room was basic at best. Very uncomfortable bed, blocked sink that won`t drain and a shower with a fine mist of water.Very disappointed as the rest of the hotel appeared to be very nice. The only bonus was the distance from the theatre was a five min walk

"Strand palace hotel"

The location of the hotel was great. Short distance to Covent Garden and lots of other attractions, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square all in walking distance. The hotel had lots of friendly helpful staff who were very accommodating but the restaurant was very busy at breakfast time with queues for breakfast and the bedroom was a little on the small side with only one chair but other than that the facilities were good.

"Room a little smaller than expected "

Our room was a little smaller than it looked on photos but it was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Only one armchair in room tho and one of us had to sit on the bed . Hotel itself in prime position for all attractions/ theatres etc . The staff kind, helpful , efficient and curteous . Breakfasts exceptional. Thank you for a lovely stay . Will recommend quite a stunning hotel

"Lovely staff but missing some little touches."

This is a really well located hotel for a theatre back as it just minutes tea from the Vaudeville and Adelphi theatres. I took my husband for his birthday and after emailing the hotel to mention this, they kindly left him a card, balloon and treats in the room, which was very kind. The check in lady, Carmen, was also very nice. However, there were no standard toiletries in our room such as shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, lotion or shower cap and as I`m no good at communicating in person I didn`t want to ask for any. The room was a bit too hot and small for a double room, even if it was billed as cosy. Although, kind of expected in the middle of London.

I enjoyed another nice stay at the Strand Palace Hotel, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff at this hotel are friendly, courteous and helpful. I`ll certainly stay here again.

I`ve stayed at the Strand Palace quite a few times now, and am impressed each time.The rooms are very clean and comfortable and have a feel of quality about them,even the room doors are heavy and well made and you feel secure behind them!The downstairs areas are a nice place to be and the breakfast buffet is excellent, I`ll happily stay here again.

"Nice hotel "

I`ve stayed at the Strand Palace a few times now . It`s a clean and well kept hotel,the buffet breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choices. The rooms have a quality feel about them and again,are clean.The hotel is set in a great location with numerous excellent pubs within a few minutes walk,Covent Garden is a 5 minute walk and the Embankment the same. I can highly recommend the Strand Palace.

"Well position hotel for the theatre. "

We stayed in one of their cosy rooms, which was definitely cosy. Very clean and comfortable temperature. Only down side was the tv didn`t work, it kept loosing its signal and the screen was all pixelated. We watched tv on my phone! The toilet was a tight squeeze in an alcove in the bathroom so if you were on the big side, I doubt you`d be ale to use it.

"Amazing stay from start to finish"

Would definitely use hotel direct again, very straight forward booking process, helpful and good value for money.I booked this for my wife`s 40th Birthday, our arrival at The strand palace was outstanding,the staff were helpful, welcoming and the hotel was clean in all areas including the rooms. The options in the areas downstairs to relax with a drink were also good. Breakfast was lovely and being served at the buffet was nice and made the process quicker. Very organised. Joe Brown`s bar in the hotel was an additional treat, such a lovely atmosphere for a meal or just a drink. Staff in there were really lovely.

"Good hotel "

I enjoyed my stay at the Strand Palace, I was in a single "cosy" room. Cosy meaning very small! I think it had been recently refurbished, everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a quality feel to it,there was no door to the bathroom but I don`t suppose it really matters in a single room.The rest of the hotel looked really nice and well looked after. I`ve booked to stay again.

"Great value for money"

Beautiful hotel set in the heart of London. Very modern, staff were really great and happy to help. Couldn`t do enough for you. Food was lovely. Breakfast was great. The Only downside. Rooms were very warm. Air con wasn`t that good. And house keeping team in the morning were very noisy. And the building site at the rear of the hotel was very noisy too. But highly recommend this hotel. I`d definitely stay here again

"60th birthday celebration."

The hotel was super on all counts.We were a group of 4 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday.The rooms were clean and comfortable.A couple of lovely touches were birthday greetings in the room,and a complimentary drink,its the little touches that make a weekend away extra special.The breakfast was excellent,though not included in our package.10 out of 10.
