Slow check-in process. Door didn`t double-lock. Window didn`t lock but room was in basement and looked out onto alley not accessible from the street. Windows also let in a LOT of noise from the heaters attached onto the building outside.

"Clean room but no heating."
The room was a little tired, needing decoration. Bathroom had chipped tiles and again needing attention. Bed linen was lovely and bed very comfortable. However, no heating and when I asked reception how to turn the heating up they sent a man who appeared surprised that: a) we had not been told that there was no heating and b) we had no portable radiator!

"Worth extra for room upgrade."
Had paid for standard room but after reading other reviews about room sizes, I contacted the hotel direct and paid £50 to upgrade to junior suite. I also requested a refurbished room. Our room was a decent size for London. Very clean and quiet. Staff all very friendly. Would use this hotel again.

"Clean and well appointed but impersonal"
Hotel lacked character and staff were efficient but failed to engage in a personal way. The base of one bed was damaged. For the price paid, and the real distance from Baker Street, and therefore central London, this was a disappointing experience. I would not choose to use the hotel again.

"A lovely hotel"
We stay for one night to see Robbie Williams. Staff where all lovely, we got a free glass of champagne and cake when we arrived. The location is great, in a lovely posh area, 5 mins from the tube station, on the bakaloo line, easy to get anywhere. Room was very clean, great shawer, overlooking the Lords cricket ground. Would reccommend.

"dont think this is a 4 star"
found ourselves in a vary basic room that had brown stains on the chair rough wallpaper and furniture with severe wearing.after complaining we were moved to a better room that seamed to be of a newer decor,The hotel staff were helpful.It needed a lot more to pass as a 4 star e.g toiletries were very basic sope stringy and moisturiser not east to apply.room presentation and better facilities in room,

"Very conveniently located with good facilities & friendly staff"
Bang next to Lords & Regents Park (and consequently London Zoo) & an easy journey from Wembley. Easy access to Bakerloo line, Metropolitan & Jubilee, making most places around this part of London easily accessible. We had a problem on arrival as they had us booked into a single room rather than the twin room that I`d booked. This was resolved quickly & in a professional manner. The room was pretty standard but clean.

Initial impression of the hotel was two out of ten judged by its outer appearance however once inside it was very good. Our room was on the tenth floor and the veiw of Lords Cricket ground was very good. A bit of a walk to St Johns Wood tube station but if its taken up St Johns Wood High Street there are some nice shops along the way. Buffet breakfast was very good but quite busy. The sheets in the bed were very rough which was fine for me but she had to sleep in many layers of pyjamas.Overall eight out of ten.

" Hotel in London"
This hotel was a great choice for my family. It was in walking distance of several sights we wanted to see. As well the bus was practically outside the front door of the hotel. And train stain was just a short walk. The hotel was very nice and well kept. The staff was extremely helpful. The couple of things i didn`t like about the hotel was the internet. We had 30 minutes a day of free internet...and if you want more you have to pay. I thought this was very cheap. We stayed in several hotels during our 2 week trip and this was the only one that did this. Also the restaurant was extremely expensive. Overall liked the hotel.

"Good choice of hotel"
Hotel is perfect for a short stay in London. Nearby, St John`s Wood Hight St has excellent facilities and placed to eat, and the hotel is clean and pleasant with good staff. A short cab ride gets you to the centre of town, although the tube is handy too. A very good choice of hotel. And you look out of the window over Lord`s cricket ground.

"Very pleasantly surprised by the excellent service we received."
This was my 3rd trip to London and my partner`s first. This was the first time we`ve stayed at a London hotel and I must say the staff were attentive and endeavored to accommodate our needs. We shall definitely choose to stay with them again.

The room was dark and opressive despite it stating it was newly decorated, it was clean. Didnt feel like a 4 star room and the facilities within the room ie refreshmentswere poor, Have had a better standard in a travel lodge. Staff very friendly and helpful
