"Not as expected for a 4 star hotel"
The hotel was clean,however the rooms dated,cracked tiles in the bathroom,a wardrobe which was nailed closed,no remote for the TV. Excellent location,but wouldn`t agree this hotel was a 4 star.

"Amazing location - Highly Recommended."
The location of this hotel (as the name suggests!) is brilliant. So many great sights to see by just walking out of the doors - we saw a whole new side of London - fabulous.The room was great - super comfy beds!Self check-in and out was super.

"No a/c in room with temperatures of 28 degrees with no option to change to a different room. "
The bath did not drain the water, blocked drain, bath filled up whilst showering and discovered that the shower and shampoo dispensers were empty. Booked this in May so very disappointed and trust there will be an offer of some compensation.

Very poor hotel and would not return. Standard rooms were awful considering the cost of it. Experienced problems with air conditioning and not resolved and room very uncomfortable.

"Dated but comfortable room. "
A bit tired but very comfortable. The price I paid I thought breakfast had been included but alas it wasn`t. Perfect location to chill in London on a lovely summers day by the Thames. Uber boat service was great near by.Loved the self serve catering bar open all day.. I have for 40 odd years wanted to stay in this hotel so I can tick it off my list.

"Amazing Location"
Not the prettiest of buildings from the outside but its location more than makes up for that. Check in can be very busy and there can be a wait for the lifts but overall this is a great base for exploring London.

"Not enough staff"
For a busy weekend and lots of guests. The hotel didn`t have enough staff to care for guests. Waited to check in then waited again to get our key, waited again to report a leak in our room. The leak was coming from areas in the ceiling. When we got back to room to shower for the evening, they had used our towels to put on the floor under the leak, taken part of the ceiling down and place the bin under another leak. We eventually moved rooms but without the view and by the time this all happened we didn`t have the evening we planned. We only get together once a year and this really ruined our trip

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were assisted at the self check in and got allocated a room with the most amazing view of tower bridge. It was a prime location and would definitely recommend a stay here.

"Faded "
The hotel`s location is fantastic; the entrance is underwhelming & disappointingly drab; the corridors are bright but the decor is outdated; the rooms are a good size but again, feel very dated. On the whole I would still recommend this hotel - but the new owners would do well to overhaul the building from top to bottom - even the concrete cladding is falling apart & the copper roof panels are faded & eroded badly. I am an Architect & I would recommend the owners to strip the whole building back to the structure, add a few more floors to the top & reclad the whole building. I would also refit the rooms floor by floor.

"Perfect location, stunning view"
The hotel is perfectly situated for guest wanting to see the tourist attractions of London. The hotel has a self check in service which is well supported by hotel staff. Our room was very clean, although the finishings are a little tired. The amazing view made up for the need of the room.nerfing updating. Great experienceWould definitely recommend

the hotel is opposite the Tower of London and next to Tower bridge 10 min walk from Tower Hill tube station in a quiet area a few restaurants near by there even a tesco express toilets flushing a bit noisy at night the staff were helpful

"Tower hotel stay"
We purposely picked this hotel for its location due to the attractions we had planned, it was perfect. Staff very helpful, hotel very clean but the furniture/fixtures in our room were very dated and looked worn. The service in our room was spot on but we travelled with family members and their room wasn`t, serviced during our stay. I would still return to this hotel, has we thoroughly enjoyed our break in London.

"Lovely hotel "
We had room 623 which over looked the docks but also had a good view of the tower bridge. Everything was spotless and we ate in the restaurant one night good food. Breakfast was good, nothing was too much trouble. It was my husbands 74th birthday and a bottle of fbubbly and cake was left in the room for him a nice surprise. Would definitely return

"Adequate room"
Room was very small but adequate with everything we needed. There was no air conditioning though and the room was unbearably hot! Staff brought us an "air conditioning" unit which was too noisy and not really cold!

"Very enjoyable stay"
Best part was the view from room looking at the Tower of London, fantastic. Room itself was clean, very comfortable and had everything needed in it. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

"Stunning hotel "
In a great location. Easy to get to. The room was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. Friendly staff. They upgraded our room and left cake and a bottle of wine as it was my birthday. Highly recommend and would stay there again

"Amazing view of Tower Bridge"
We`ve stayed here before and whilst it`s not the most modern hotel it`s clean, the staff are friendly, the view is amazing and it`s right in the heart of the city next to Tower Bridge, Tower of London, the tube station, a Tesco extra etc we`d stay here again.

"Accomodating "
We arrived early and asked if a room was available earlier or if we could leave our bags locked up safely . There was a room available so we were very happy with this. The room was very comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to Aldwych theatre from the hotel mostly alongside the Thames on a sunny day. It took about 50mins but if you want to go by tube that is very easy too. There are plenty of restaurants close by the hotel and the area is very nice. A very enjoyable weekend.

Hotel was excellent, room was clean and tidy and kept that way for our 3 night stay, location was great for our purposes as most forms of transport were at most a 10min walk. Views from the cocktail bar overlooking the tower bridge were brilliant, get there early if you want a seat. The outside bar was great for a beer after a day out site seeing. The food looked really good although did not eat in the hotel because of our itinerary. Will be back this year.

Room very outdated and in need of renovation. Shower didn`t work properly! Breakfast was awful, cooked breakfast-food was cold and extremely bland. Good location though.

Fantastic location with stunning views of the bridge. Clean and spacious twin rooms for us which were perfect for my daughters. Friendly helpful staff! 5min walk from underground and Dlr station which benefited travel to venue for show This is the second time I have stayed here and was not disappointed
