Everything was excellent apart from the bar. It closed at 11pm and we got back from the theatre at 10.58pm. The barman was a bit grumpy and didn`t really want to serve us. He told me there was no beer when clearly there was. I thought the winw was expensive - even by london standards

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, breakfast - gets you off to a good start. Visiting the Theatre, Shopping on Oxford Street or Covent Garden, whatever you have planned the Hotel is a great location.

"Not good for the disabled"
A good hotel but I was put in a room, which was very difficult to access. Long walk plus several steps and a flight of stairs. I have mobility issues, which the receptionist could clearly see. By the time I got to the steep flight of stairs, I realised but didn`t have the energy to go back and complain. My daughter arrived later and was annoyed. Plus housekeeping arrives at 6 pm, too late.

"Excellent hotel, ideally situated for the West End and the Britishg Museum"
We enjoyed our stay very much and will return. The only downer was the temperature in the bar. The air conditioning was turned up so high that it was unpleasant to sir there. Thanks to your friendly and helpful staff, however.!

Stayed in this Hotel many times - 2 / 3 times per year. Is in need of a little tlc but the location is excellent and thats what takes us back year after year

On arrival in the afternoon these was a dirty breakfast tray outside our room. The rainforest shower head came apart on use and fell on my head. However staff were attentive and polite. Breakfast was good and fresh.

Very welcoming staff, Renatta on the desk was very efficient. Breakfast was very varied. Room was comfortable, the only downside was the view from the first floor window was not nice but this didn`t effect our stay.

Don`t judge a book (or hotel) by its cover, old hotel but the decor is good and the hotel is clean. The breakfast was delicious and well cooked.Perfect location for us, would stay again.

The thistle hotel is a lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Room was lovely and breakfast delicious.One downside,there is no disabled access. But the staff went out of their way to help.
