"Great Location "

Great location for tube, Oxford street shopping and Hyde Park! Hotel rooms were newly refurbished so clean and comfortable but our window had not yet been renewed so old drafty single pained window that would of been noisey if our room had of been road facing. Luckily we had a inside facing room so I little less noise. Not a pretty hotel from the out side but nice on the inside. Breakfast was excellent! I would definitely stay again if they double glaze all the windows.

"Perfect Location"

When I booked this I chose the secret hotel option and we ended up with the xxxxx at xxxxx xxxxx, which was perfect. the room was very spacious and seemed like it had just been decorated. Breakfast was to die for. Would definitely stay here again,

Just what you would expect from a xxxxx hotel. Clean comfortable and fresh, lovely breakfast. Only down side, as with all large modern hotels, although staff are friendly and efficient, it is somewhat impersonal - not really a problem for a one night stay.

"Conveniently located and quite comfortable"

The heating / air conditioning in the bedroom had a mind of its own, even turning itself on after I had turned it off (twice). Getting the temperature to what we wanted was hit and miss. Other than that the room was very comfortable. We were offered an internal facing room or one with a street view. We chose the street view so we could watch the world go by. The view was not attractive and we couldn`t actually see the streets or London. Not a major issue, though.The cooked breakfast wasn`t bad for a big hotel but it wasn`t that relaxing as the restaurant was heaving.The hotel was convenient for access to the West End shops, theatres and museums.Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

"Hotel met expectations!"

Room recently renovated, very comfortable. Delicious full breakfast each day. Very helpful staff except Conciergewho was very offhand perhaps I spoke to the wrong person others may have been more helpful.

"Beautiful refurbished room on the fourth floor"

The staff were excellent. They took the time to make sure your stay was great. On checking in I had made requests prior to booking. Through no fault of the staff the request could not be met so the lady on reception upgraded my room without being asked. I would say that was a great customer service and fantastic training of staff. Thank you all at xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx

"Superb location"

Booked due to location which is ideal for Oxford St, Museams and Royal Albert Hall. Room adequate and very comfortable, having recently been refurbished. Breakfast was well cooked and plenty of choice. All the staff were efficient and friendly.Did not eat any othermeals at the hotel.Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying here, clean, comfortable, politeness of staff, central to everything. The only thing we didn`t like was leaving. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and hope to see you again one day.

"Great location!"

Location is ideal for shopping and is close to tube station so site seeing is easy. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice available. Room was a good size and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a little tired looking. Fridge didn`t work but once reported was quickly repaired. We asked for a hand held hair dryer rather than the wall mounted one in the bathroom and one was quickly supplied. Staff were generally helpful. I would stay here again.

"Can`t fault for; value for money; location and service."

Location brilliant for all London attractions, room spotless and very good standard, breakfast was brilliant - so much on offer, staff friendly and luggage holding service extremely handy. Definitely stay again.

"Lovely stay, highly recommend! "

Our stay at the xxxxx was beyond our expectations. Perfect location for all the shops down Oxford street, Bond and Regent as well as the nearest tube station. Room was perfect size for two of us and the bathroom was equally as good, with the spacious shower and cleanliness! The size of the hotel was huge so was a little walk to our room but not a problem at all. We did have a very minor issue at our first breakfast, being so busy the poor staff couldn`t keep up with tea and coffe requests, but we informed the waitress of this and after a day shopping we came back to the room with a fresh fruit bowl as a apology. Lovely touch and genuinely not expected! Only thing to beware of, whilst sitting at the bar to have a drink the bill comes with a added 12.5% service charge, which I don`t mind if it is deserved, but that`s London, Staff were all friendly and and really can`t recommend enough, we are sure to stay again!!

"Excellent weekend stay in very stylish hotel"

Really enjoyed the pre-Christmas weekend stay in this hotel. Staff were courteous, the room was comfortable and clean, breakfast buffet was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

"Standard of service maintained on busy weekend"

Probably one of this Hotels busiest weekends for Christmas functions but standard of service very highAlthough we had to queue for 10 minutes for breakfast the staff were exceptionally efficient in clearing tables and organising guests. The breakfast was very good value for money. Evening meal also very good. We would recommend

"Enjoyable stay"

We had one of the newly refurbished rooms on the 7th floor and were impressed with the room. Very enjoyable stay including a good breakfast. Only small moan which is the queue for breakfast was very long - we obviously arrived at the wrong time!

"Excellent Art Deco Hotel"

We were very impressed by the friendly, helpful staff from the minute we entered reception until the time we left. The room was very spacious with a huge, comfortable bed. One of the best night`s sleep we have ever had in a hotel. Excellent bathroom with shower. Restaurant very well designed and the breakfast was superb.The hotel is only just round the corner from xxxxx xxxxx and the underground. A very good position for exploring London. We will certainly go again.

The room was lovely but the reception staff althought polite seemed to have no knowlege of anything in the hotel eg the restaurant. Unfortunatley the cooked breakfast wasn`t very nice and was stone cold. Considering this is a 4* hotel in London I was a little disappointed.

"Best hotel for price and location. Too good to miss."

We stayed at this hotel 18 months ago and it was so good when I saw it at a good price I jumped at the chance of going again. The staff are lovely, very professional but friendly too. The rooms are being refurbished we stayed in one and it was lovely. Breakfast has so many choices its amazing. Its location is excellent 2 minutes from xxxxx xxxxx tube, round the corner from Oxford Street, a short walk from Hyde Park. Leicester square Covent garden Traffalgar Square etc a short tube ride away. If we go back to back to london I would be wanting to stay in this hotel again. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

We never felt warm, either in the foyer or, more particularly, in our room. The food at breakfast was only luke-warm, as opposed to hot. The variety of food supplied for breakfast was good. I have made my complaints directly to the hotel. The location is super but I am afraid their customer service leaves a lot to be desired!

Only negative - if baggage staff are having a bad day, they would be better to keep it to themselves rather than sharing it with house guests.
