"Clean and friendly "

We a group of older females came to Birmingham for the xmas market for two nights , from walking into the reception Sophie was amazing gave us loads of ideas what to do whilst we were in Birmingham arranged for us to leave our luggage until we were leaving by train in the afternoon nothing was too much trouble . Also Claire the lady in the breakfast room also amazing charming friendly and helpful too . She ensured we had everything we wanted even ensured our poached eggs were cooked properly despite running round sorting other people out too. Strathallan hotel these two members went above and beyond make sure you look after them well they are an excellent asset to the hotel , if ever we return which we certainly hope too would book to stay again please thank both of them on our behalf have a prosperous and merry Christmas

"Just right for an overnight stay"

The staff at the hotel were all friendly and efficient, which was particularly good as the hotel was fully booked. The double rooms we booked were quite compact and o.k. for a single night stay. For longer stays you would probably prefer a larger room.

"All but a few staff seemed ignorant and not at all friendly."

Firstly this is a very tired Hotel for a 4 star ,the staff at the Hotel reception are lacking any personal touch to their service,everything seemed a lot of trouble,they were busy but this is to be expected at this time of year On leaving the Manager could not even lift his head from His computer to ask if we had enjoyed our stay and would look forward to maybe seeing us again. He just mumbled thank you and goodbye. Yours D Anthony and Family

"An enjoyable stay and an ideal location to visit the Xmas Markets. The hotel was fine"

The rooms felt somewhat cramped but, was acceptable for our one night stay.

Brilliant hotel good rates for weekend,clean and modern rooms very warm n cosy beds...reccommend to anyone:-)10/10
