Within the local area Carlisle Racecourse is also 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: The hotel is located immediately outside the main entrance to the railway station.
BY ROAD: Heading south-east on M6, exit at Junction 39 towards Shap/Kendal/A6 and turn right onto B6261. Turn right to merge onto M6 towards Penrith/Carlisle. Continue on M6 for 26 miles and then at Junction 42 take the A6 exit to Carlisle (South). After 0.2 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A6 and after 3.1 miles turn left onto Crown Street. Turn right onto Collier lane and then after 0.2 miles turn left and the hotel will be on your left.
