Room and hotel facilities:

All of the 43 rooms in either the main hotel or Hallingbury House opposite have been decorated to a high standard and are of a contemporary style. In-room facilities include flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Food is served throughout the day in the hotel`s Lakeside Restaurant and Garden Bar. Guests can enjoy view out over the gardens and lake whilst enjoying a drink in the bar, lunch in the restaurant or Afternoon Tea.

The 4* Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel is a Tudor Style manor house surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. The traditional exterior is complimented by the contemporary interior. On the Essex Hertfordshire border the hotel is an ideal location for guests visiting either county and is also less than 3 miles from Stanstead Airport. The hotel has plenty of onsite parking, which is free of charge to guests during their stay. As well as the main hotel building, guests may also be allocated one of the 12 rooms in Hallingbury House opposite, with access to all of the hotels facilities.

Getting there:

BY ROAD: Heading East on M4 exit at Junction 4B towards M40/M1/Watford. Keeping to the right at the fork merge onto the M25. Continue on for the next 42 miles and at Junction 27, use the left hand lanes to merge onto M11 towards Harlow. After 14.2 miles use the 2 left hand lanes to take the A120(W) exit towards Bishops Stortford. After 0.5 miles at the roundabout take the 5th exit onto Dunmow Road/B1256 take the next right turn and the hotel will be on your left.
FROM STANSTEAD AIRPORT. Head north-east and at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A120 slip road to M11/Bishops Stortford. After 0.9 miles merge onto Thremhall Ave/A120. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Cambridge/M11 (N)/Bishops Stortford/A120. At the Priory Wood roundabout take the 2nd exit for Thremhall Avenue/A120. After approximately 0.5 miles take the 1st exit from the roundabout for Dunmow Road/B1256. Take the next right turn and the hotel will be on your left.
