Room and hotel facilities:

All of the spacious rooms at the 4* Hampton by Hilton Torquay have contemporary décor and are fully air-conditioned. In-room amenities include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen HDTV, mini fridge, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities and ensuite bathrooms with power shower. Some rooms have views across the city or towards the harbour. All room rates include a generous buffet breakfast which is served in the open plan lobby café bar. During their stay guests also have free use of the hotel`s fitness centre. Some pet friendly rooms are available, this should be arranged directly with the hotel.

Hotel and location:

Situated in the centre of the town, the Hampton by Hilton Torquay is within easy walking distance of popular attractions. The seafront is approximately a 10-minute walk away where visitors will find sandy beaches and the Princess Pier. The Princess Gardens are also on the promenade, surrounding Torquay`s Princess Theatre. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes along the promenade. Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is less than 20 minutes drive away and other popular towns such as Brixham and Kingswear are less than 30 minutes by car.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: The hotel is approximately 5 minutes by taxi from Torquay Railway Station.
BY CAR: From M5 exit at junction 30 and follow signs for A379 Exeter/Exmouth/A376/Sidmouth/A3052. At Sandygate Roundabout, take the 5th exit onto the M5 slip road to Okehampton/Plymouth/Torquay and after 0.7 miles merge onto M5. After a further 3.2 miles continue onto Devon Expy/A38 following signs for Plymouth/Torquay/A380. After 2.3 miles make a slight left onto A380 following signs for Torquay and continue for 10 miles. Keep right to continue on Besigheim Way/Penn Inn Flyover/A380. After 3 miles make a slight left onto S Devon Expy and then turn left ono Hamelin Way. Continue onto Riviera Way/A3022 and keep left to stay on Riviera Way. Follow this route for 1.6 miles then make a slight left onto Newton Rd. After 0.3 miles turn right onto South St and continue onto Belgrave Rd. After 0.5 miles make a slight left onto Torbay Rd/A379 and at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Cary Parade/A379. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Torwood St/A379, turn left onto The Terrace and the hotel will be on the left.
