The Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport has an ideal location adjacent to Edinburgh Airport and the Royal Highland Centre. A short 5 minute shuttle bus ride will take you to Edinburgh Airport (pay for) and just 20 minutes by car or bus to the delights of Edinburgh City Centre, where you can explore the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and maybe take in a Ghost Tour and indulge in the fantastic shopping opportunities around Princes Street. The hotel has easy access to the nearby M9/M8 and Glasgow which is only 43 miles away and can easily be reached by car.

Getting there:

BY AIR: Edinburgh International Airport is 2 minutes by shuttle bus from the hotel. The shuttle bus is circular turnaround and returns to the hotel every 8 minutes. On arrival at the airport call the hotel from the courtesy phone in the arrivals hall. Out of hours, advise the hotel Reception team of your departure time when checking in.
BY RAIL: Edinburgh Waverley Station, is 9 miles away and can be reached by taxi or Air-Bus, the journey time is approximately 25 minutes. The express bus service (number 100) operates from Waverley Bridge, just outside the station to Edinburgh International Airport.
BY ROAD: From Edinburgh City Centre join the A8/Glasgow Road from the city bypass signposted towards airport and Glasgow. After approximately 8 miles take the exit signposted Ingliston Airport/Royal Highland Centre, keep right to continue toward Eastfield Rd, take slight right onto Eastfield Rd. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Eastfield Rd, at the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Fairview Rd, turn right into Ingliston Rd, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit and the hotel will be on your left. From the North and West. Continue on M8 signed Edinburgh, turn onto M9 and keep left at the fork to continue on M9 for 0.9 miles, follow signs for A90/Forth Road Bridge/Stirling. At junction 1, take the A8/A89 exit to join the A8, at the Newbridge roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Glasgow Rd/A8, after 1.5 miles take a slight left onto Ingliston Rd, at the mini roundabout take the 1st exit and the hotel will be on your left.
