Hotel and location:

The 3* Holiday Inn Express Leeds East lies just 2 minutes` drive away from the M62, and 5 minutes from the M1. Leeds Bradford Airport can be reached in around 40 minutes by car for international flights, while the city centre is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Woodlesford Rail Station is approximatley a 20 minute stroll from the hotel or a quick bus ride, from here it is less than a 10 minute train ride to Leeds Station. From Leeds station many of the major city sights and attractions are within walking distance such as Leeds City Museum and the Cathedral. Shopping opportunities within Trinity Leeds lie in wait, while the well-known restaurants, bars and nightlife of the Northern Quarter can also be found close by. Both the O2 Academy Leeds and the First Direct Arena are close-by, at a short 10 or 15 minute walk respectively from Leeds Rail Station for music and entertainment events. Closer to the hotel, there is a large Sports Centre just a 3 minute walk away and the Oulton Hall Golf Course can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot.

Getting there:

BY CAR: From the M62, exit at Junction 30 and take the A642 signposted Rothwell. At the first roundabout, approx 1 mile from M62 Junction 30, take the second exit which leads into the hotel car park. From the M1, exit at Junction 44, follow A639 direction Pontefract. Continue down the hill towards Oulton, passing several sets of traffic lights and a Tesco Direct. At the first roundabout take the second exit to continue forward on A639. At the next roundabout take the first exit which leads into the hotel car park which is adjacent to the Toby Carvery.
BY RAIL: From Woodlesford Rail Station. Exit the station on foot heading South-West, and take a left towards Station Lane. Next take another left onto Station Lane, follow this road before taking a right turn onto Aberford Road, after approx. half a mile take a left to stay on Aberford Road and the hotel will be on the left. This is approx. a 20 minute walk. Alternatively local busses and taxis are available from the station with a journey time of around 5 minutes.
