The 3* Holiday Inn Lancaster, 20 minutes drive from the Lake District National Park, is situated approximately 1 mile from the M6 and 10 minutes drive from the city centre. The hotel is also close to places of interest within the local area. Lancaster Castle is approximately 14 minutes drive from the hotel and the Maritime Museum is 8 minutes drive. Guests wishing to travel further afield can visit The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness-on-Windemere which is approximately 30 minutes drive. For a day out by the sea, Blackpool is conveniently only 40 minutes by car.

Getting there:

BY ROAD: Heading south on M6, exit at junction 29 for Burnley/Blackburn. At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the M6 slip road to M55/Lancaster/ B`Pool and after 0.4 miles merge onto M6 and continue for 7 miles. Keep right to stay on M6 and after a further 19 miles, at junction 34, exit towards Kirkby Lonsdale/Heysham/Morecambe/A683/Lancaster/A589. After 0.5 miles turn left onto Caton Rd/A589 and after 0.2 miles turn right and the hotel will be on the left.
