All include flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchen and seating area. Some are also air-conditioned.

Getting there:
BY TRAIN: From Waverley Station, exit via Market Street. Cross at pedestrian crossing directly outside Train Station, turn left and continue along Jeffrey Street until you meet The Royal Mile. Turn left and continue down the Royal Mile approx 5 minutes, heading towards Holyrood Palace. On the right hand side you will see an archway called Bakehouse Close, walk through for the hotel.
BY ROAD: Follow the signs to city centre of Edinburgh, drive down Dalkeith Road which becomes St Leonards Street which then becomes The Pleasance, continue to junction at bottom of the hill turn right at the lights into Holyrood Road. Turn left at next traffic lights into Hammermans Entry, follow the road round to the end and you will see the car park entrance gate.(Press security buzzer for entry.

Parking is availalbe at the back of the property on a first come first swerved basis for £20 from 3pm to 11am, availability outside of these times can not be guaranteed.

Breakfast arrived at 9.45 on the second day. Not at all on the 3rd day. Otherwise room was well equipped and very clean.

we had a nice 2 bedroom apartment with all amenities instructions for all appliances except for a mobile phone we never used staff at reception very friendly and helpful

"Spacous modern apartment close to all the action."
The modern apartment was large enough for two people with a well equipped kitchen. Clean and secure. Shower over the bath but adequate water pressure. Room cleaned each day. Apartment close to Holyrood parliament buildings, the Royal Mile and other major tourist attractions. Can recommend this apartment if you prefer self-catering.

The apartments are well located for walking to The Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. The apartments are clean although the carpets could do with replacing. There was quite a bit of noise echoing around early morning from the courtyards below. Would definitely stay here again

On arrival, the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. We found the apartment roomy and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed and would support a much longer stay in Edinburgh. Instructions for heating were clear and easy to use. The bathrooms were clean and equipped with toiletries. We found the beds very comfortable and enjoyed a good night`s sleep. The sitting area was tidy and comfy. We thought this was very good value and would book with Aparthotel in future

"Excellent hotel"
From a slightly dowdy exterior I was very surprised by the quality of our room. Stayed in a double double apartment on 6th floor. Very spacious and airy with separate kitchen and a dining area. Bathrooms (1 en suite) had been newly renovated very well and the stay was very comfortable. Plenty of provisions for breakfast and teas/coffees. Will certainly stay here again.

"Very Comfortable"
The accommodation is excellent. The location is very good. I arrived early for check-in and was notified "very clearly" by the receptionist that I couldn`t check-in until 2pm. There was, however, no problem in storing my luggage until check-in. Room serviced to an excellent standard each day. Overall, I would highly recommend Holyrood Aparthotel. Just a little friendlier reception staff would be nice.

"Good value for families "
A bit tashed around the decor, scuff marks on walls etc, but our apartment had 2 bathrooms with showers and WC one with a bath, a very functional and well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. We also had a breakfast box with 2pints of milk a variety of cereal, orange juice, butter, coffee, bread, tea, jams and philly cheese! Great to get you started. Staff were so accommodating when we asked to extend our overnight stay to allow my daughter to shower after a very muddy XC race they allowed us to use the shower room by the gym, fully kitted with shower gel & fresh towels. Good place, good location, nice vibe!!
