Located just north of Derby city centre, the Leonardo Hotel Derby (formerly Jury`s Inn) is close to the city`s main attractions and a 10-minute walk to the main shopping centre. Guests can walk 10 minutes to visit Pickford`s House; the former home of architect Joseph Pickford or alternatively only a 6 minute drive away, guests can explore St Werburgh`s Chapel which dates back to 1699. Guests can also visit the Derby Museum and Gallery which is free and under 10 minutes away. The city of Derby is also ideally located for visitors wanting to explore the Peak District.
Getting there:
ON FOOT: From the Derby Midland train station head out of the main entrance and turn right on Leeds Place towards the Railway Terrace, were you will turn right and walk straight towards the Cockpit roundabout. Take the 4th exit onto Morledge. Continue up Morledge, and at the next roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Corporation Street. Continue till you reach the next roundabout and then take the 4th exit. Walk approximately 2 minutes, turn right toward Full Street and then turn left at Full Street. Next turn right at Queen Street, slight left to stay on Queen Street. Turn left onto King Street and Jurys Inn Derby is located to the right on the opposite side of the road.
BY CAR: From the South. Follow the M1. At Junction 25, exit onto Brian Clough Way/A52 towards Derby. Merge onto Brian Clough Way/A52. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Eastgate/The Underpass. Use the middle lane to turn slightly right onto The Underpass. Continue onto King Street/A6. Keep right to continue on West Avenue/A6. Turn right onto Kedleston Rd. Take a slight right onto Duffield Road/A6. Continue on A6. Hotel will be on your left.
BY CAR. From the North. Follow the M1 south. At junction 28, take the A38 exit to A615/Derby/Matlock. At Pinxton Interchange take the third exit on A38. At Little Eaton Island, take the second exit onto Abbey Hill/A38. Use the left hand lane to take the A6 slip road to city centre/Matlock. At Palm Court Island, take the first exit onto Duffield Road/A6. Continue on A6. The hotel will be on your left.
