Edinburgh Castle is approximately 15 minutes walk from the hotel, as is the Royal Mile, probably Edinburgh`s most famous street. The Grassmarket area in the Old Town is less than 10 minutes walk. Amongst its historic sites and buildings there are also many quirky shops, pubs and restaurants. Guests attending a performance at the Royal Lyceum Theatre will find this hotel conveniently close by, just a 6-minute walk.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Edinburgh Haymarket Station cross the station forecourt towards Clifton Terrace. Continue onto Clifton Terrace, which leads to Morrison Street. Continue on Morrison Street for 0.4 miles onto Bread St. After 0.1 miles Bread St leads onto West Port. Turn right onto Lauriston St and after 0.1 miles turn left onto Lauriston Place and the hotel will be on the left.
BY CAR:From M8 at Hermiston Gait Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A71 slip road to Edinburgh West/City Centre/Kilmarnock/West Calder. Keep left and follow signs for Edinburgh West/City Centre/Kilmarnock/West Calder. At Calder Jct, take the 1st exit onto Calder Rd/A71 and continue to follow this route for approximately 2.5 miles and then turn left onto Balgreen Road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Stevenson Rd. Continue on to Westfield Rd and then continue onto W Approach Rd. After 1.5 miles turn right onto Lothian Rd/A700. Turn left at Tollcross, Edinburgh onto Lauriston Pl and after 0.2 miles the hotel will be on the left.
