The Pentire Hotel is situated on the Pentire Headland, right on the edge of Newquays stunning coastline, with the famous Fistral Beach on one side and the River Gannel estuary on the other. There are many beautiful beaches in the area making it a very popular destination for surfers and families with children. Many coastal foot paths run close to the hotel meaning guests can easily explore Cornwall`s breathtaking coastline on foot. With the hotel just one mile from the town centre, a 20 minute walk would take you into the heart of Newquay where you will find an array of local attractions including The Bluereef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo. Dairyland Farm and Crealy Adventure Park are also nearby. Newquay train station is just a 5 minute drive from the hotel allowing you to easily access the all that Cornwall has to offer. Newquay airport is only a 20 minute drive making it a perfect base for your Cornish adventure.
Getting there:
BY TRAIN: Take the main line train to Par Station where you will change for Newquay. The journey is approximately 40 minutes from Par. When you arrive at Newquay Station the hotel is a 5 minute taxi ride.
By Car: Follow the M5 to Exeter the exit onto the A30 towards Bodmin. Exit A30 onto A39/B3279 towards Newquay/Airport/St Columb then follow the signs to Newquay town centre. At Mountwise Roundabout take the first exit to Pentire. The hotel is situated on the right hand side before you reach the Pentire headland.
