Getting there:
BY TRAIN:From Waverley Station exit the station using the Waverley Steps. Turn left onto Princes Street.. Turn right on to Hanover Street and continue straight on crossing George Street. At the Junction with Queen Street keep going straight ahead on to Queen Street Gardens East. Take the next right in to Abercromby Place, the hotel will be on your left
BY ROAD: Leave the A74 at junction 13 and take the A702 exit for Edinburgh/Lanark/A73. At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A702. Stay on the A702 by taking the 2nd exit at the next 2 roundabouts. Continue on for approximately 22 miles and take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Carlops Road/A702. Follow the A702 for the next 12 miles and then at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Biggar Road/A702. After 0.9 miles turn right onto Buckstone Terrace, continue on and you will come onto Braid Road. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Hermitage Drive and then turn left onto Braid Avenue. Take the next left onto Cluny Gardens and then turn left onto Oswald Road and then left again onto Kilgraston Road. Follow the road onto Marchmont Road and the turn left onto Melville Drive/A700. Continue to follow A700, which after about 0.9miles turns right and becomes Princes Street. Follow this road to turn left which comes onto Charlotte Street/Princes Street/South Charlotte Street. Continue onto Charlotte Square and then onto North Charlotte Street. North Charlotte turns right and becomes Albyn Place. Continue onto Queen Street and then turn left onto Queens Street Gardens East. Take the next right onto Abercromby Place and the hotel will be on your left.

A trip with mum and sister for a few days to Edinburgh. This was a lovely well run and high quality place to stay. Room was very comfortable breakfast was a treat and the staff very helpful.
