The National Maritime Museum, with its displays on the county`s seafaring heritage, is within a 15 minute walk as are the many shops and boutiques of the town centre, whilst the historic Pendennis Castle can be reached within a 20 minute walk along the sea front. The shopping, restaurants and bars of Truro can be found within a 20 minute drive, whilst St Ives, famed for its art and beaches, is only a 40 minute drive away. Guest looking to explore the Eden Project with its diverse range of plants can do so within an hour`s drive of the St Michaels Hotel.

Getting there:

BY CAR: Leave the M5 at junction 31 then merge onto the A30 and follow the A30 for approximately 80 miles until you reach Carland Cross Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A39 and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A39. After 500 yards turn left at the traffic lights onto the A390 towards Falmouth. At the roundabout carry on straight ahead on the A39/Falmouth at the next roundabout take the first left following the A39/Falmouth, and then carry on straight ahead at the next 3 roundabouts, following signs for A39/Falmouth. At the next roundabout carry straight on and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Falmouth, carry straight on at the next roundabout and take the first exit at the next roundabout into Falmouth town centre. Follow the hill down and take the 2nd exit from the roundabout ensuring you are in the right hand lane to continue straight ahead. Follow this road straight over one more roundabout and then take the third exit at the Merchant`s Manor hotel, at the end of this road turn left and continue down the hill, you will see the beach ahead and the hotel is on the left hand side.
BY TRAIN: The nearest station is Falmouth Town, from the station a taxi to the hotel will cost approximately £4.
