The fabulous Royal Hotel is located 10 miles from Dublin centre which is only 30 minutes away via the Dart rail system.  The Dart link takes you right into the centre terminating at Tara Street station close to O`Connell Street. The hotel itself is located in the beautiful county of Wicklow which is famed for it`s wonderful beaches and vast lakes. A pleasant 5 - 10 minute walk brings you to Bray beach and seafront. Guests can take a stroll along the Victorian promenade and take in the spectacular natural beauty of Bray Head. The Heritage Restaurant offers fine dining, while Quinn`s Bar has live music every Friday and Saturday evening (and selected weeknights). A traditional carvery lunch is available every Sunday and a bar menu is available every day serving light snacks. The Merrill Leisure Club and Spa offers a 14-metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, state-of-the-art gym, aerobics studio and many beauty and massage treatments available. For children the recently added games room has arcade games, pool tables, air hockey and junior play area. Complimentary Wi-Fi is offered in guest bedrooms. This hotel is non-smoking.

Getting there:BY ROAD: Coming off the M50 take the exit for Bray North,  go around the roundabout take the 2nd exit go straight up the main street and we are half way up the main street on the left hand side. 
BY DART: Leaving Bray Dart Station turn right, you will come on to the Quinnsborough road, turn left, walk to the top of the road and the hotel is on the right hand side.

"Good value for money"
Good location... close to beach and train.  Hotel was clean, our room was spacious, and the staff is friendly and helpful.  Take your walking shoes, room 142 is a long way from reception.  The bar and restaurant are good value as well. Take your own blow dryer!

Bedrooms are in need of a little refurbishment, which  i believe to be a work in progress. Overall excellent value for money with the added bonus of free leisure facilities and WiFi. We enjoyed our stay.
