There are 35 unique guestrooms at the Windermere Manor Hotel, each with their own private en-suite complete with complimentary toiletries and in-room amenities including: free Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Guests are welcome to enjoy using the heated indoor swimming pool during their stay. The on-site restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers delicious meals from the seasonal menus. The Windermere Manor Hotel is set in beautiful gardens and is in the perfect location with great transport links and for exploring the local area. Windermere Railway Station is just a 4-minute drive from the hotel, or a 15-minute walk through quiet country lanes. As soon as you step out of the hotel`s door, you are facing the beautiful Windermere Lake. Taking a stroll in any direction will take you to amazing scenic viewpoints and luscious woodland trails. Some nearby viewpoints include Queen Adelaide`s Hill and Orrest Head Viewpoint, each within a walking distance from the hotel.

Getting there:

WALK FROM WINDERMERE STATION: Walk north on Station Rd and turn right onto High St. Turn left onto A591 and at the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rayrigg Rd. Turn left onto Priory Gardens and turn left again, the hotel will be ahead of you.
FROM M6: Exit the M6 at Junction 36 and turn left onto A591. Follow signs to Windermere for 16 miles staying on the A591. Do not turn left at Windermere village but carry on to Ambleside. At the mini-roundabout take the first left onto Rayrigg Road. The hotel driveway is on the first left, opposite the view point.
