Room Explanation

DOUBLE

A room with a double bed which will accommodate 2 people. You can also book a Double for single occupancy.

SINGLE

A room booked for single occupancy. This may contain a single bed. If a double bed is required, please select Double or telephone 0800 633 8000.

TWIN

A room with 2 seperate beds each accommodating 1 person.

TRIPLE

A room with beds that will accommodate 3 people. Please note that this often means a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. If you wish to request 3 separate beds please telephone 0800 633 8000. It is important to note that 3 separate beds can only be requested by Hotel Direct on your behalf and is not guaranteed by hotels.

FAMILY OF 3

Many hotels offer free accommodation for 1 child sharing a room with parent(s). Age restrictions apply and are quoted on our hotel pages. Family of 3 rooms will accommodate 2 adults and 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children. Only 1 child can be free so please submit the age of the youngest child to optimise your search.

FAMILY OF 4

Some hotels offer free accommodation for 2 children sharing a room with parent(s). Age restrictions apply and are quoted on our hotel pages. Family of 4 rooms will accommodate 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Only 2 children can be free so please submit the age of the 2 youngest children to optimise your search.

DOUBLE/ TWIN ADVANCED PURCHASE

A double or twin room is assigned at the hotel. The hotel will try to accommodate each guest’s preference but this is not guaranteed. NO refunds available for cancellations or changes.
